This isn’t just a story of success-it’s one of power, survival, and the price of building a global empire. Five sisters, each with their own vision, turned Fendi into a fashion powerhouse, but not without drama behind closed doors.
With the brand’s rise came whispers of tension and family struggles-unseen to the public eye. How did they navigate the highs of global success while keeping their family bond intact? And what role did legendary designer Karl Lagerfeld play in elevating Fendi to unprecedented heights?

I shopped at the very first Uniqlo in NJ at Menlo Park Mall. The quality back then was amazing. It's still good but the items I bought back then, compared to now are thicker and have lasted... and prices obviously were a lot better. Prices in Japan are 1/3rd of what they are in the US which hurts the wallet a bit but my main request is that Uniqlo bring back its old return in store for online shopping policy. Not every store carries all the collections and sizing isn't always accurate online. Paying $7.95 to return/exchange an item or having to drive/waste gas is really inconvenient. I'd shop far more if they brought back the old return in store policy for online shopping.

Uniqlo’s quality totally beats Zara’s, but I just can’t trust those used clothing recycling programs offered by clothing companies. It honestly feels like a scam! Most of those clothes just end up in landfills, and there are way too many out there for everyone. It’s such a mess!

Segmenting and branding for each of the segments?. Thare are out there fashion companies who work in this way since long time ago and with very good results.... Giorgio Armani for example. Dont confuse the costumer moving up and down.... focus on each segment with a proper identity. This is nothing new, invented long time ago.

Just embrace and accept the decline. Start selling Burberry at places like Walmart, Target, and Marshals. Maybe they can return to profitability, albeit in a different form.

I’d hate for people to judge and remember me, at my worst , instead of my best.. I’ll also say this, a mark of a truly talented designer , their clothes being able to be worn 50 years later….most of these clothes, I’d wear them present day 2024

Demna has made some exquisite evening wear that is often more reminiscent of old Balenciaga than much of Ghesquière's pieces. While most people seem to only notice the Streetwear and bizarre accessories, all of which are a departure from the original house's designs, you WILL FIND in every single collection exquisite dresses. Also the expansion of handbags under Demna hasn't been all bad, and flat out I adore several different pairs of Balenciaga shoes made under Demna. I agree with much of your statements here because so much of what we've seen is reprehensible, BUT I'm not ignoring the pieces I love from each collection. Some of Balenciaga's audience still sees the elegance of SOME of Balenciaga's pieces, but you literally have to watch every collection and to pay attention. I regularly surprise people by many of Demna's evening gowns.
