    at the 0:12 mark, some numbers appear on the screen when you say the word "dimensions." Those numbers are: 1920x1080. What does that represent? I crunched some numbers assuming they were inches and it came out to 14,400 sq ft. Then I assumed they were centimeters and that came out to roughly 207 sq m or 2,228 sq ft, which seems more realistic, but you keep saying 1500 sq ft, or 30x50 in one comment. Which is it? What part of the structural footprint is "shop?"

  • @Frankengruvin
    @Frankengruvin 55 хвилин тому

    what is the total square footage of the project? In one video it seemed as if your dimensions for the slab was 14,400 sq ft. That seems crazy. You said "shop home" a couple of times. How much of the structure is the shop? Was it really as big as I think it is?

    Sooo... You did a good amount of the work yourself and saved on labor AND did not pay for the lumber for the foundation because you already had it. What is the total price if you had to hire out ALL the labor and had none of the materials at hand please. Single mom with zero building skills asking. Thank you.

    I have my eyes on some land. would i be able to reach out to you for help regarding advice and what not when im ready to build out? i have NO IDEA about permits, sqft requirement, zoning etc. id love some information or if u can do a video about the entire breakdown from start to finish. like what land to look for and what to avoid, who you should contact for leveling the land, permits needed, building a drive way, connecting electicity to main and gas and water etc. thanks. i have a tiny 800sqft home in mind and the land is 11 acres on water front property. id assume a well would be great choice for water and also possibly for water generated electricity.

      So someone who already has land with a trailer on it but wants to build this. How much will it cost them? Not everyone needs land. What if someone finds an acre for 10k then how much would it cost? Pretty silly way to think about it right?

    • @DudeWeCanBuildIt
      @DudeWeCanBuildIt 7 днів тому

      That's why I only priced the house construction, not the land. It costs 87k to build the house. If you have utilities and a dirt pad, then it shouldn't cost any extra

    The moral of this story is in order to save thousands of dollars is to get all of your friends to help you for free. Nothing about this video was useful to normal people who don't use others labor and knowledge for free.

    • @DudeWeCanBuildIt
      @DudeWeCanBuildIt 7 днів тому

      A GC quoted me $160k for the build. Still better than paying $350k at 12% for 40 years jam packed in a subdivision with HOA fees. The idea of this video is how YOU can have a nice home for less than the price of a double wide. We apologize we didn't spoon feed you the message.

    There is a bunch of bullshit…. You might be able to do this 20 years ago You OWN an AC company so you had all the people that either work for you or are in debt with you or the company you grease the wheels with the come out and trade …. That itself probably cost $100,000. My buddy Jay, who only charged 8000 should’ve charged 20,000 . My buddy Steve, who owns a roof roofing company charge me five grand who should’ve charged me 20,000 .

      I built this house last year, 2023. I understand your skepticism, that's why I uploaded ALL the receipts. Most of the materials are from widely available stores like home Depot. You could build this same house yourself for around the same price. I did 80% of the labor myself and the people who helped were paid. Do you think I don't pay my employees? The amount of labor that was outsourced is not $100k. I wouldn't have had to pick up a single tool for that price, lol.
