The full build playlist! We are still finishing the building to completion so we are putting videos out as we go. Stay tuned for more! ua-cam.com/play/PLayU2prE-potvxZimE_sPDNfR075WRLGc.html
The base plate needs to be treated because it will be in contact with the concrete. It will have more exposure to moisture and you do not want it to rot. You want to use untreated for the rest of the framing that is not in contact with the ground because the treated lumber can cause fasteners to rust and corrode. Thanks for the question!
This looks like it is built in the south… one question I have is should there be any kind of vapor barrier or anything? I’m about to start building one of these thanks
Yes, there definitely needs to be a vapor barrier. We are using closed cell spray foam on the inside of the metal building to accomplish our vapor barrier and insulation in one step

Good proyect‼️
Thank you!
Beautiful!
Why do you look everything look easy! Great job dude, I’m truly enjoying watching this build
Glad you enjoy it!
I learned stuff!
Stuff being taught and stuff being learned. UA-cam is working
how did you attach the walls to the metal structure?
Small pieces of wood screwed to the walls
Awesome job! Can you explain why at 1:14 one has to be treated and the other one untreated?

Our build is x2 2.5in metal framing, should we attach 2x4 to that or frame out the inside of it ?
Frame out the inside and add extra insulation

Awesome do you build for others? I need this
We can, what do you have?
A barndominium
Where are you located?
@@DudeWeCanBuildIt Alabama
That's a little too far from home for me.
What state are you? Does this set up meet a 130mph wind zone?
We are in Louisiana. The building is rated for over 130mph winds. I’m not sure what you mean about the inside framing tho. We appreciate you watching!

I love this!!!
You're supposed to laminate a sheet of plywood between the headers. Not leave a huge gap in the middle.
Good try though.
It’s an interior non load bearing wall nerd
You can't make everybody happy, lol. 😂
@@roosterbooster2245 It's still the proper way to make a header if you're going to flaunt it to the world in a video without stating that as a fact.
