What is a Central Heating and Air Conditioning System?
Mines not turning on ,but have brand new batteries
My Hessaire is giving a code 39
This is not taking standard air filters? That would be a negative. What is the static pressure value of this slim duct unit?
In 2025 would you still go with a 80% furnace? Thank you.
I think ours is the compressor needs replaced
The outdoor unit fan stops randomly after about 30 mins, but if you turn the unit off and back on the fan runs again for 30 mins or so again. What could this be? Unit inside runs great, it dont stop when this happens
I want the best Lennox Signature, how do I go about getting one? I live in Torrance, Ca 90503.
Heat pumps are worse than both!
When I click the on button on the remote I hear the beep sound but no signs show up signifying that it's even on
I always start with troubleshooting the most easiest meaning in your situation may be just the batteries or a faulty remote
Same problem here ... Heat is not working..not blowing
It's not blowing any warm air at all or any type of airflow then it might be your blower
The blower blows air but temperature stays room temp in spite of the settings. Good news is I had a response from Denali after emailing them. We might be able to troubleshoot with them on the phone, using a multimeter.
Me too ,whats going on.
Nice presentation and explanation!
Heat pump cools but no heat both high pressure lines and cold plz need help
same here, on heat mode, but no heat. how to fix that?
Put a piece of cardboard outside underneath the outdoor unit to see if you're getting dripping and if you're not check with the indoor unit drain if these don't properly drain they won't heat and make sure that your unit can work under cold conditions some of these units will not work if it hits 10° outside

I have 2 of the 9kBTU ceiling units as part of a 4 head 42kBtu multizone system. One is in a 14×15 bedroom and the other is in a 12×15 with an attached 7×7 bathroom. I’d say there hasn’t been any mold issue and they generally keep the spaces at the temperatures my kids want. Which in the case of my son is around 76° in the winter and 69° during the summer, which doesn’t stress the unit. I also have a 12kBTU unit in my wife’s open space office and that sorta works ok although all the heat in the house ends up in that space, because it’s on the second floor next to an atrium. So it has to work hard during the summer. Could have bumped the power up there, but she hasn’t complained.
unit coms on but run's very slow. What can cause this problem?
You mean you cannot adjust the airflow to be stronger I would first change my batteries and then order a new remote that you can return if that's not the problem start with the simplest things first
You should know that if you buy a Lennox, your evaporator coil will leak.....
Bad product, run away from Lennox.
I didn't see the EL18 variable speed listed here. Anyone have any experience?
What should I expect to pay for an entire new installation
The blower works fine, it is only blowing room temp air. Was lead to believe it came pre charged. Will I need to refill the unit.
Did you figure out this issue? Having the same problem
I have the same problem @@currenjohnsen7938
This shit looks like the jumpe start capacity on the outdoor unit. It is a comum problemm
As long as your unit was vacuum first for at least a couple hours and then you release it and then check to make sure that you had the right amount of refrigerant that wouldn't be your problem unless there's a week or it did not come pre-charged to the full capacity for the line set for your particular unit
Stupid thing is loud. Something is loose in the inside unit. Best to just throw it away and get a Mitsubishi.
If your room in 320 sq feet with 8 foot ceiling is 18000 BTU ok ,for that matter is 24000 ok . Is there a problem with going higher btus than needed . Obviously it's going to cost more but besides that is there a problem with going above and beyond what's required for your room .
Absolutely Fantastic Brand!!
so explanation would have been nice
Well, I did not realize that I was asking what the difference was between 110 and 220 Vac, what to know about Mini Split systems - 3 minutes of my life GONE!
Does it work without the remote? There’s an on off button on the split but when I push it nothing happens
My Goodman is 17 years and still runs like new
Poor. General information is no help with specific anything. Stop making videos if ur lazy
Except Lennox sucks
Have a little trouble choosing between ducane or spending a little extra on rheem for a furnace and ac condenser. Help?
my goodman lasted 16 years
Higher you go more money for the install, more things for to go wrong. Buy the Merrit line will last as long a the signature line, yes it may cost a little more in electrical cost, the break even is around 10 years. By then chances are you will be starting to look for a new unit anyway.
I think a toxic smell is coming from our unit. I notice it more at night. It is strong enough to burn your eyes. What could be the cause?
Mold. Have it professionally cleaned
Would these work between floors or only on the top floor?
Having heat issue. All functions work fine but when go to heat we get nothing at all. No error codes either. Just nothing.
Same thing here. It started after we had a power outage. No error code. Louvers are not moving either. Works on cold not for heat!
Same. My outdoor unit kicks on but indoor unit isn’t running.
@@georgemartinez4355same here. Everything works fine except for heating mode. The outdoor unit never kicks in.
I'm having the same problem. I'm trying the dip switches under the remote control battery cover.
Added 410, system went into defrost and then started blowing hot air
Having heat issue. All functions work fine but when go to heat we get nothing at all. No error codes either. Just nothing.
Mine was a stupid error. We didn't get the line open enough. Go out and turn the valve (looks like a screw at the end of the pipe coming out of)
exact same here. how did you fix that?
Not blowing proper heating mode air tried everything
You have to wait at least 3 min for it to go into heat mode after you put it in it and they all have to be in the same mode had the same problem
@@D1v1neDreams it is MSZFH06NA 253 max volt 187min split system heat pump mines not blowing warm at all it’s -3 here hasn’t worked for a week
Ours just does nothing in heat mode. Every other function works but when on heat we get nothing. No error codes either.
@@valerieburton3451 did you find issues?
Did you find out why it doesn't blow warm air ? I have the same issue.
I'm up in the cold northern part of Canada. which one do you think we should be getting for the cold long months as opposed to the hot days because we would use it more of a heat source than an air conditioner
My unit turns on, no error codes, it shows the temperature I set it to, like normal, but nothing comes out, it doesn't blow and Idk what to do
Mine does the same. Did you figure out a solution?
@@jamesduffy2834 nope..
Mine is doing same thing in heat mode.
Any updates on why?
@@jhunsi20041same with ours… everything working but heat. Then nothing.
Is there ever an issue with mold growing on the inside of the unit?
Carrier cross over systems are way better that stay fully inverted at 24v with any 24 controller that has 3 heat 2 cool capability the cost is way better as well.
DO NOT BUY GOODMAN AC UNITS, I purchased 2 units in 2016 (8 years ago), they gave me a Registration Certificate receipt with 10 years parts ALL PARTS warranty on paper under my name. One of the units broke and I called to have warranty honored to find out they didn't want to honor it, their excuse was that the property on tax roll was under an LLC and the Certificate is under my name (Am the owner of property and president of LLC) but this is excuse to not honor warranty, they said that they're warranty and tax roll name must match, so they seem to warranty property not appliances, what a joke..... DO NOT BUY FROM THEM if you care about warranty.
I was offered EL296V FURNACE and ML17XC1 with 12 years warranty for 9k. What do you think? I wanted the EL16XC1 for AC, but I was told the ML17 is a better option. What do you think? my house is 3000 sq ft.
I was recently quoted the EL297V and ML17XC1 for $11,800. I'm thinking about going with Trane though
I was offered $9500 with elite Ac two stage. I still didn’t go with Lennox. Their reviews are horrible. I’ll either get a carrier or trane. The only problem with trane is hard to find parts.
This is VERY helpful information as I'm currently shopping for a new gas furnace. I'm not sure I completely understand the mechanical difference between a variable speed ECM unit and a multi-speed unit, however if the variable speed unit is much quieter, that's the one I'll purchase. Thanks for your help!
This older video did a great job explaining the offerings by Lennox in 2021 but with all the changes being made because of the new refrigerant offerings there is need for an update of this video if possible.
Hi thanks for the content. It was helpful. I’m conducting a market research on the HVAC/water heater industry in the US and wondering if we could set up a call to discuss. Please let me know if you are available or interested.
Thanks for the information. What is the best location when the ceiling cassette should be installed to cover living room and kitchen at the same time when the living room and Kitchen located as 90 degree floor plan?
15k 😂
Hello, I may be installing a Mitsubishi EF50 for a customer. The dealer specifies a minimum refrigerant line length of 118 inches to avoid flow noise. However, the indoor unit sits directly behind the outdoor unit so I can only get 40 inches. What minimum length would you guys recommend? I rather rarely have to install air conditioners and therefore have little experience. I would be grateful for a tip. Many thanks and greetings from Germany, Markus
