P.T. Never Really Died
One of the most influential horror games ever made, and it was just a demo. The scariest monsters are the ones that really exist.

WIPEOUT 3 AND SPECIAL EDITION - Best of OG Wipeout
I just bought it and am enjoying it. It reminds me a lot of Days Gone which also was a great game.
If you go with the flow, turn off the AI team mates and don't cheese anything, it's a really immersive single player stealth shooter. I still play it in 2024.
Hi, im going to buy a mini pc soon and use it solely to run emulation on it. Would you say the ps2 version would be the best if i cant get a hold of the pc version? Because i heard with ps2 games you can upscale them to 4k, so it would look really good as well.
I adored 2097 on PS1. Wipeout Fusion came on the best console ever, the PS2, and... it had weird unpleasant tracks and an unremarkable "hard-sounding" soundtrack. I was disappointed, like so many. The series would redeem itself fantastically on PSP and PS3/4.
My friend is more disappointed that they made him shredded like Sly in Rambo 2, but for me I didn't know there was all the cyber enemies. I think you mentioned you can turn those off. Does that mean you could make it so you fight human enemies only? Or do you still have to fight the cyber trucks and whatnot? I love the Division 2, but Black Tusk annoyed the crap outta me. Just wanna see if it's worth getting since there will be sales soon and I'm looking for another game to play with my friend.
As far as I can say, this game.. kinda sucks, the animations looks like a butt, the gameplay look like mu soul or whatever
The greatest game ever. Get yourself a crew and try and find the Predator for some real fun. Spents weeks trying to kill him. Loved every moment of it
1997 and the Matrox Mistique version was my entry into the universe. I had another DOS/win95 version I got on budget re-pack for £5. The music was and still it something I listen to a lot, and because my first edition was a bundled one with missing tracks I am still finding ones I never heard. If you go into the mechlab in MW2 and name yourself Freebirth Toad it unlocks the Tarantula and Elemental for you to pilot. It also unlocks the battlemaster but there is a typo in its file that makes it crash, there wasa patch to fix that.
Currently there are Wipeout remakes on PC such as BallisticNG made by Neognosis and Formula Fusion made by former Psygnosis Leeds programmers There are also ports made with the leaked Wipeout source code, such as Wipeout Phantom Edition... Phoboslabs, the creator of the Web browser port of Wipeout even stated that if Sony takes it down, then there may be a new Wipeout coming.. And yeah, Wipeout Rush / Merge is a flop
Got it in steam sale for $1!
i downloaded it today on my phone emulator, i am absolutely terrible since im new and i cant use air breaks without a third arm BUT i loved it
Wipeout is a childhood game that will always stay in my heart dude. The memories
The helicopter is bloody useless!!!
PLEASE STOP PLAYING WIPEOUT IN 3RD PERSON VIEW. ITS A GAME ABOUT SPEED AND IMMERSION, 3RD PERSON DESTROYS BOTH OF THOSE THINGS.
Loved the game. One of best, if not the best Wipeout.
I didn't find out about this game until later, I owned about 3yrs ago along with tdu 2 for 360 and I actually kinda regret letting both go, I haven't finished beating both and the maps were a pretty decent size, as much as I love racing games and been a nfs fan for a very long time, I hated that I didn't know anything about this game coming up as a teenager, I'm 32yrs old now 18 years later
Yes, the original voice-overs are king. Something that doesn't get mentioned is Alucard's voice actor is the same one from the first Tenchu who narrated the intro of each level so he appears in 2 of my favorite PS1 games. He also was the announcer in a couple Tekkens.
I started playing Wipeout about a year and a half ago with the 1995 original. While I do love it for what it is, as well as its killer soundtrack, and that it aged so well for a very early PS1 title, I'm really excited to get Wipeout 3 sometime soon, this looks so awesome even after 25 years.
i think you would be able to do a great impression of liam nesson
I aas an earthsiege boy. I didnt find mw2 till later, lost my mind! It was so good. Tho id argue mw3 was the best of them all. I still try to run it annually. :P Thanks for the nostalgia trip ♡
Wipeout 64 is an absolute masterpiece It’s up there with resident evil 2 64 in the ‘THEY F*CKIN ACTUALLY PULLED IT OFF’ category
I hate borders on 4:3 games!
This would have been the best NFS game, if the creators hadn't mess the control up
The definitive and peak fast racing game. The best racing game ever made with BNG!
I love wipeout fusion. It's a game I can still play and enjoy.
This was too scary for me when it came out. I remember my boyfriend playing it, and I had to leave the room because even the sound was too creepy! (Yes, I"m a wimp.) But I managed to get through this review, and so glad I did! (Except why, just... why so many cockroaches in PT???! People have phobias 😠😡) Loved the Twin Peaks, Eraserhead, and the You Don't Know Jack bits - super inspired!!!
I remember playing this game on psp, its really mind blowing that they were able to fit an entire map on it, what i love about it was that the game felt like a vacation, the car list and the house customization were pretty great, i bought the pc version a few days ago and im halfway through the game, my only gripes about it was that the bike handling were janky and the island lacked offroad sections, not that it needed it but it would be cool to use it as a shortcut as a way to breakaway from the long stretches and twirly roads but other than that its one of my favorite games
wth !! wipeout pure was one of my favourite psp games, but it literally felt like it had not enough content .. and now, about 15 YEARS later i am finding out it had MASSIVE FREE DLCS 💀☠
Used to love racing online and career wit this game. Playing curren$y in the background 💨
This could have been the best SilentHill game made by Kojima.
Unfortunately the soundtrack for this entry isn’t really good, definitely the worst of all. Everything else is just fantastic.
Could this be your best video to date yet?? Great stuff, PT's legacy is immense considering it was "just a demo", I had the luxury of playing it at a friend's house, before knowing it would be deleted... I got my PS4 straight after but was already too late...
Truly one of the biggest losses in the industry, what could of been. I only wish my PS4 didn't die on me which had it. Great video as always ReviewDen!
and also project one room, that game was supposed to be spiritual successor of dreamcast japanes game "roommania" which is infamous because of music from serani poji, but oh well it was cancelled
You can still play it, you only need PS4 9.00 CFW GoldHenV2
2:53 have u ever played Forza Horizon 2-5 on simulation steering? I guess not...
Great video! I love how you presented this game, provided all info etc. I need to check out your other videos :)
Mobile gaming was better back in the days. Even though we have hardware which beats PSP many times over.
To your point of poor sales, I remember seeing this game on the shelf as a kid, but hardly remember seeing any promo or marketing for it at the time and this was right after WipEout 64 released. I almost passed it up thinking it was something completely different. Still have my original copy to this day, and so glad I took a chance on it as it's my favorite in the series as well.
What's the music playing in the background from?
I love this franchise with a passion, it was one of the few games that majorly influenced my life. Omega Collection was incredible when it was launched, I preordered it as soon as it was announced. Last month I bought a PS5 and the first game I played was the Omega Collection. It's mind-blowing how good it still looks today, over 7 years later. I got a couple downsides of this game, The ship sounds on 2048 aren't the same from the vita and it's sad to hear because of how unique it was, like a transmission was strapped to the craft and it had to change through gears. The billboards on 2048 also aren't the same on the vita, they had animated billboards with team interviews and random fake ads in game but because of limitations the videos for the billboards are very small and hard to see. Besides that the game is flawless. You should check out Pacer (Formula Fusion), the Designers Republic was hired to design it and it had a troubled development life but it is technically a sequel to WipEout, similar to BallisticNG/SlipStream GX.
I love this game. Favorite one in the series, though I've put more hours into Omega Collection
Damn, you need more subs mann! Ur way of reviewing feels so professional. I'm just glad that the dlc isn't good since i didn't buy the ultimate edition of breakpoint 😂
wipeout Fusion was my childhood
This game is indeed misunderstood and underappreciated. It's a superb horror, survival FPS. One of the best PS1 games for sure.
Can you throw people into the lava like in metal gear solid 1? I loved throwing people into the molten metal. Or disarming and then executing (gangsta style) enemies in perfect dark.
11:37 all that bullshit and molle gear with packs and pouches and you can’t carry multiple filters?
The OP weapons in Titanium Edition really hurt the gameplay for me.
Are those custom HUDs i see? Not sure if you mentioned them in the review but i love that, Wip3out's HUD design was my favorite and seeing it again in an official WipEout title that's THIS RECENT makes me so happy lol
I think Wildlands was Ubisoft's apex. When I played Outlaws with its little pew-pew pistol and see where they seem to be going with their monthly payment, online only schemes, and weapon levelling ideas, it occured to me that Ubisoft is probably no longer capable of making a game like Wildlands again. The corrections and changes to Breakpoint seemed to be an attempt to make it as good of a game as Wildlands, but there were several things like the interesting, varied, and enjoyable Bolivia and all its beautiful little artistic and cultural surprises and people that the makers of Breakpoint couldn't seem to appreciate at all. Maybe there is more of a performance difference for console players; for me on PC, Wildlands is completely smooth with no problems and beautiful to look at. It's a classic I'll go back to from time to time. I doubt I'll miss Breakpoint when they turn off the servers.
I actually i never played this game 👀
Oh damn you are missing out

This is amazing, I've had my psp and Pure since about 2005 but never knew there was any DLC. Is this still available somehow on hardware or otherwise on emulator?
