Joe Rogan didn't get to the fame he has because of comedy. However, because he's been doing comedy the whole time along the other things that made him famous he correlates his success to his comedy/stand up, which is without doubt, not the case.

Tony’s set was very tame yet funny in a classical sort of way. Only an absolute pussfactory would take offense to any of this. That was the most lighthearted set this dude has ever done.
