One "small" detail you missed was that the Serbian FA before the game had banned any albanians from attending barring VIP guests and journalists and they had also banned any albanian flag, shirt or any sort of merchandising from entering in the stadium. The Serbian fans were chanting racists chants agaisnt Kosova, Albania and their people and also burning our respective flags and that of NATO. They called for the slaughter of Albanians amongst other heinous things and our anthem was booed to oblivion. This is why we were awarded the win amongst other reasons and this is why a fan decided to fly a drone in. It's incredibly unfair to play in such conditions and to allow the disrespect to our nation as if it isn't actively happening. Either play on neutral turf with no fans or allow both teams to have their supporters there. Simple. In the return game Serbian fans and symbolism were allowed and none faced any issues with Albanians in the stadium or city. Good times nonetheless thankfully no one was seriously hurt barring some serb feelings :p

Germany is a "neutral" location at this time in Euro2024... so, if Albania advance the group, they might meet Serbia in the knock out phase. Albania is in a tough group with big names, Italy, Spain, Croatia, so little chance to advance, but who knows. When I say "neutral" location for Germany... that's in quotes because Germany is a NATO member along with Albania, and Serbia is not; NATO bombed Serbian military targets in 1999 siding with Albanians in Kosovo. Plus WW2 Germany had already given Kosovo to Albania... there was a little "unschluss" between Albania and parts of Yugoslavia inhabited by Albanians that was added to Albania. But this championship should not be about politics - if Albania and Serbia were to face one-another, there won't be any scuffle, just a normal game; I doubt that any nationalist fans from Serbia or Albania would dare cause trouble in Germany. Apart from politics, Albanians see Yugoslavian (Serbian and Croatian) sport teams as great; including CrvenaZvezda, Partizan (Belgrade) and Dinamo & Split Zagreb (Croatia). Flamurtari (AL) eleminated Partizan Belgrade many years ago in a incredible match between an unknow Albanian amateur team against the mighty Partizan, but it happened, and Flamurtari advanced to play well with Barcelona, with the latter advancing only by goal scored away.
