Omg thank you SOOO much. I was gifted a beautiful Macy’s-own Herald deluxe precision and there are not many helpful videos. I oiled it top and bottom but every time I started her up the threads kept breaking. I spent the whole day messing around and changing things to get it to work. I finally find your video and figure out the foot tension was completely down and too tight. It pops up a little different from yours, but now it is running. Thank you!!!

My best friend just gave me an old "Remington" (Japanese made) sewing machine with the exact same parts as this one, your video helped me SO MUCH!! I had no idea how to wind the bobbin or what the "tyre" went to lol (I have it in the wrong place right now) I'm planning to make some chair covers, and FQ hand bags as practice, then make my own square dancing dresses, thank you so very much for posting this video!

I wish the audio was clearer when on the computer. I have such a hard time hearing your audio.

The "belt" for the bobbin, as you call it, is actually the bobbin tyre, (or tire if you're in the US); same as the bobbin winding mechanism on many old Singers. Not sure what's happening with the lighting in this video. Most of it is very dark and hard to see anything, then suddenly there's perfect bright light then dark again. I've just seen a machine for sale near me here in Oz exactly the same as this one, badged as a Thomson Super DeLuxe. Might go and check it out. I’m really glad you did this, it’s helped a lot.. I just have one question about the sleeve cap, how do you know it is going to fit the arm hole? Or do you have to walk the pattern piece to check it?

My layout looked fine but when I printed I had some pieces not matching and some pieces printed twice. Do you think it is tracing problem? It all seemed good on in details.

Is seamly any different that valentina. I tried Valentina and stumbled on so many problems, errors and other things that I am ready to give up trying to learn to computer draft. It drives me crazy to follow instructions closely but get some crappy errors. Maybe I should just load Seamly instead.

I have problems with adding details when you need to add something curvy using arc or curve...it is for some reason very difficult to grab the entire shape. Would you have any tips. Could you please create another tutorial.

Can you load different measurements into the ready pattern to get a pattern for somebody else?

one could expect a circle skirt to be easy to draft....I would definitely do it faster with a pencil and paper or...in fact drawing on the fabric and cut...mix 10 mins and I am ready to sit at the the machine.

My wife used did this to my daughter's pants and she absolutely loves them. Keep the videos coming.
