DIY Cat costume tutorial - NO PATTERN NEEDED

My daughter wanted to be a cat this year, so we obviously headed to the fabric store! We used a cheap crushed velvet fabric that was soft, stretchy, and would help keep her warm. We used a pair of good-fitting pants and a long-sleeve t-shirt to make the pattern. The whole project took me just under an hour to complete and she LOVED it. In fact, the pants and shirt were so comfortable she wears them to school sometimes.
