I do. I use a space heater at my feet that works really well. I'm in Florida, so our cold weather in the winter is in the forties, especially in the morning when I'm painting. :)

You make a great point. I'm from Wisconsin, and this wouldn't work there year-round. Even in Florida, I use a space heater to paint in the garage in the winter. We get down in the forties in the winter months. :)

Hi Chris, I hang some of them throughout my house until they are dry, then store them in a closet or leave them hanging. I actually paint much more on archival paper. I enjoy it, and it's easier to store. I use pants hangers and clip multiple archival paintings on one hanger (depending on size) and hang them in the closet. Then, I cross my fingers and hope my originals sell so I can make room for more lol.

Hi Raeanna! I totally get the potential for chaos with an art studio in the midst of children. My son is grown, so I'm over those days now :) The key is that you've found a way to keep creating art. For a long time, I just drew in a sketchbook in bed at night. We just need to keep creating no matter what! Thank you for your comments.

I finished the program in June. It was life-changing. You make a great point about the artist's painting style choices during the program. There is no push for students to paint one style over another. I saw all styles when I was in the program. I agree with what @lindakahega9553 stated the style the Milan's paint in is desired by collectors, which probably draws the interest of students, that and they probably like the style themselves. Where are you at in the program? Is any of your work visible on social media? I would love to look at it. :)

It's just awful to have those internal voices knocking you down while you're trying to better yourself. I promise they will get quieter. They did for me and now I don't hear them anymore. Believe in yourself. There's a reason you are pursuing art. Keep going! Don't let anything stop you!

You will especially enjoy this course because the Milan family are also horse lovers, and you will see techniques for painting horses during the course of the program.
