In the typical weird way, lol. I was at work, and I have a window behind my desk that goes to the ground. I was working and heard this noise. I turned around and saw a big green iguana staring at me from the other side of the window, scratching the glass with his foot. I live in Florida but I've never seen a big green iguana outside before. He was so cute. Anyway, after that day, I couldn't stop thinking about him, and I just kept seeing all of these paintings flash in my mind of Mr (or Mrs.) Iguana doing all kinds of stuff (ballet, playing pool, taking a bubble bath, etc.). So I had to start painting the series :) Crazy?
@@lisaalexgrayartist OMG Awesome! 😄🦎 I've seen the tiny salamanders everywhere in Florida but I never saw an iguana too. He was trying to send you a sign I think!
Hey Lisa, can't wait to see them finished. How did you get the idea for featuring iguanas?
