I played Doom on Super NES in the year 1997. I was a kid and absolutely loved the game and I absolutely enjoyed the longest plays in those hollow and pixelated AF corridors.

Trash review, didn't rate it 10... Okay, okay, I'm kidding, I came here form your Nosferatu review as I enjoyed that one and thought I'd like this one too. Needless to say, I was not disappointed. This game is one of my favorite games ever, I've played it so many times I can beat it on hard (yes this game has a hard mode) every single time even if I was hit with Alzheimer, because this game has been INGRAINED in my muscle memory! I really wish we got a sequel or something to it, but I'll take spiritual successors like Cyber Shadow too.

I clicked your link on my Reddit post about beating it on Hard in the Japanese version, and let me say, everytime I beat a game like that, I love to watch a good review for it, and your video does just that! I do disagree with the majority's opinion on this game being subpar. Sure, the controls take a while to get used to, and the trial and error can get the better of you, but once you learn how to deal with this game, it can be a great time! I've practiced this game enough times that I could practically beat it in under an hour, and while I get most people aren't THAT dedicated, I still think it's worth playing through once since you have infinite lives anyway. I don't know, maybe I'm a sucker for obscure games...

I love how all the character models are either a bit too wide or a bit too tall

Playing this game again has become sort of a yearly Halloween tradition for me in the last few years. It's probably my favourite in the series, it really feels like Capcom got the balance right between being just as challenging as the other games, but forgiving enough and with enough spectacle that you didn't really mind how tough it is :)

I always had a soft spot for this game. I wish it was better. But at least I got my copy for like 5 bucks many years ago.

If i ever get this game i plan to beat it but ill be using a game genie to do it 😅 a hard game like this requires a game genie for an impatient and not so much time anymore old man gamer like myself. I bet its still hard even with the game genie too

I was happy PC owner at the time. The only way to fully enjoy Doom back in the day was to have PC and access to extra maps and all cheat codes.

Mystic quest was the first Final Fantasy game that I ever played when I was a kid and introduced me to the franchise. I think it’s actually a pretty good game. It is simple but it’s still fun.

Love this game for the music. Also, I love it for the hard-hitting scenes.
