Di kasi sya narerecognized ng mga new version.. then iupdate mo yong firmware sa pinakamababa hanggang pataas.. dapat walang laktaw. Pag di parin umobra try to replace the 3 pcs 5volts regulator sa DSP.. if wala prin it means DSP is defective na.. about nman sa 24.4.2 nman.. its a Pre-amp issue.. may SMD resistor dyan n 100 ohms malapit sa potentiometer baka sunog na kaya walang signal napumapasok .. pwd rin yong amp ic nya ang sira sa ch.5 ang may problem.

Salamat ng marami. Hindi ako marunong ng electronics pero susubukan ko. Unahin muna yung 16.4.2. Binuksan ni misis just to look inside. Do not see any leak sa capacitor. Yung pang update ng firmware siguru muna ang gagawin ko. Then factory reset ko. Thank you

Experienced the same the day before Yesterday in central Europe, so I can feel your pain ) I was searching for repairing instructions, but then, watching this I decided to save my nerves and time. This is obviously a Design flop of PreSonus. I also Googled a bit and yes, we are not alone. PreSonus rolled out and advertized the 2nd Gen, where they put a glas fuse in the box. So, this might seem as rework, but they basically mean by that, that the problem may pop up again (and this is halfway a temporary solution). Not good. One might want to look for something else.

@@cycobeez try to modify your board by replacing the 3 pcs 5volts regulator with 7805 regulator..

You have to replace the volume potentiometer if the volume knob is scratchy.. the part no# of the potentiometer.. RK097G 10K 6PIN variable Resistor rotary carbon film taper Potentiometer.

The problem when the volume causes crackling is corrosion over time. Wear and tear from constant use.. to fix it is to replace the volume potentiometer..

Check for speaker bka nasunog pag ok mman.. replace TDA ic.. yong nkakabit sa Heatsink if present ang power..

Check mo sir mga connection, minsan lumuluwag dahil sa vibration. Check for bulging capacitor.. check mo din sir yong TDA ic bka nagooverheat.. lagyan mo ng bagong thermal grease. Check mo rin yong speaker if good pa bk mababa na sa 4 ohms. For now yan muna sir ang mga dapat mo icheck.. sana makatulong..👍🏻

What seems to be the problem?

@@FixYahTv similar to this actually, my active speaker, left side was not giving loud output like passive speaker and then yesterday it just stopped giving output. To make sure it was isolated to left speaker I removed the red/black connector wires and played audio only in left, It was playing audio with very small soft volume even with volume knob turned to max. If it’s anything similar to the problem in this speaker I suspect it must be a blown capacitor, sir

Try to replace bulging capacitors. Sometimes capacitor leaks and causing weak and sometimes buzzing noise.

If your unit is under warranty you should send it to your supplier but if itis not. Try to replace bulging capacitor near the TDA ic.

Sorry man.. i dont have it anymore.. just replace all the bulging capacitor and thats should fixed the problem.

@FixYahTv no worries man. Just wanted to see what you used. I noticed you put some brown liquid around the capacitors. What is that? Also, you used something to glue the foam back on. Things like that would be really helpful to know.

You can use RTV silicone adhesive.

Ya sure Yes, yes, man, once it happened that I was in a show and there was a problem of power fluctuation, the earthing was very high, so I was checking the income with the tester, and by chance, the auxiliary input was in the wrong channel. On the channel number 32, as soon as I put the tester on it, it has shorted the negative and positive, so a slight spark and the IC of the channel went off.

@@FixYahTv If it is possible that the input of that channel is actually when I plug it in, then the gain and its cue are running but the input is not inputting in that channel. The input is not working and there is another problem when today it happened. As soon as I do it, it is 32 by 32 channels. So that is probably a grounding problem

check also large filter capacitor for short or leaky.

Sorry to say but it is permanenty closed.. they put strong adhesive to close the speaker.

@@FixYahTv A very strange decision. I think that in my copy there is something with a separating capacitor, because the high frequencies sound more muted than in the active one. At the same time, the output from the amplifier produces the same signal, I checked it with an oscilloscope.

You can check the back of the passive speaker and gently priy the speaker connector.. its has a capacitor in it.

@@FixYahTv sa US po. After ko mgconnect connect sa computer FireWire sa universal control wala napong input signal lahat channels.

@@FixYahTv second hand po nabili. All working naman po after recently lang wala ng signal lahat channels. Aside from that all functions working po.

Leaky capacitor po ang problem ng unit ninyo.. replace nyo lng po yong mga nagbulge na capacitor and that should fix your problem po..

Check mo muna sir yong master fadee nyo.. try nyo sprayan ng fast drying xontact cleaner.. then sa likod ng mixer nyo po sa output Left and Right channel may dial knob po doon for output volume.. try nyo po pihitin.. minsan kasi dahil sa katagalan nagloloose contact yon kaya humihina ang output ng mga channels..
