I need to upload a few for sure. I have a couple that I need to edit for walleye on Patoka. This time of year I would fish around the grass lines and main lake structures. They should be biting pretty good

For grass, it’s hard to say. Just gotta find good live grass with an edge to it. 7-12ft maybe? For non grass stuff I’d look from 15-22ft

We hunt mainly deer up here. I love to turkey hunt though lol I would trade it for deer hunting but I enjoy both a bunch!

You can either go to their website or call them. I’ve always emailed them and normally they just asked for pictures. Pretty straightforward process

You have to send the broadhead back to Magnus and they send you 1 new one. Its says it wright on there website. So I do know how you got a free pack. They told me on the phone. That is Not there plaicey

Without completely burning the spot, we fished the south central/west part of the river at a lock. I would assume you could do this at any locking system on the Ohio

Killing the breeder size bluegill out of a system is a great way to end up with a lake full of stunted fish . It takes several years at your latitude for bluegill to reach 11-13 inches … 😢

These fish are no where near 11-13” and this lake has a great population of breeding sized bluegill. We didn’t catch these during the spawn on the beds, so they all had chances to spawn this year. Not taking fish out of a system is a great way to end up with a lake full of stunted fish as well

For this gun, I’ve only used the modified choke. It depends for other shotguns, it’s best to buy a couple and pattern them at 40 yards with the shot you plan on using. Honestly, most factory supplied chokes will do just fine if the birds decoy correctly

I think I already had a doe in the freezer at that point but I could be wrong. Also unless something changed, Indiana is not an earn a buck state. You can shoot a buck during any season. You can “earn” another buck by doing draw hunts or reduction zone. The reduction zones (around big cities) are earn a buck

I would highly recommend it in the summer. They get stack up on the main lake and it can be very fun!

@@cw_outdoor_adventures they can be caught most of the year. Just have to learn their movements. In February down in Tennessee we sometimes caught them in a foot of water.

It’s not uncommon at Patoka either to do that. It just seems like they are much easier to get on and have a great day on them in the summer. Very rarely do we catch anything smaller than the 17” area.

@@cw_outdoor_adventures we fish for them below the damn in Leavenworth. Haven’t broke the 15 pound mark, but lots of 10-13 pounds and a couple over 14
