Nice! I was searching for an updated O River video,,,, glad I found yours. This weather sucks!
I've been fishing the Big O since 1980.
I was down there 2 days ago, bank fishing below a dam. Maybe I can help you out?
I DIDN'T bring enough minnies,,, ran out after 40 min! So I started dragging a 1-1/2" piece of lime green paddletail swim, on my hook.
Carolina rig was the way to go. i was slow dragging the bottom. 1/2 oz slip egg, 8" -12" leader & long shank #6 silver hook.
Make sure the weight taps the bottom all the way in. It CALLS THEM IN!
Like, when your boat fishing along that wall, tap the bottom once or twice, then pick the weight up off bottom.
Winter,,, go small with the rubber.
I see your across from Kentucky? 14" limits there. I'm across from W Virginia,, 6 fish limit, NO SIZE LIMIT. Eyes or sauger.
Tip,,, COLD-WINTER,, always have some junk rags on your boat,,, grab the fish with the rag!!
Put a piece of tape on your pole between the guides at 14",,, measure that fish between those guides. saves lots of time, & prevents chasing around flopping fish!
You find 10 times the fish behind that wall, when all of the gates are open & the pool elevation is high. They'll be hiding in there,, out of the heavy current along with the bait fish. You'll be able to catch more keeper eyes, just before dark. they will be closer to the shoreline rocks, looking for the larger baitfish that's hiding inbetween them.
Please, keep those o river videos coming! ;>)

Without completely burning the spot, we fished the south central/west part of the river at a lock. I would assume you could do this at any locking system on the Ohio
