the Mode Obscura at 65g bottomOut and BsunRaw at 60G bottom are 10g above my limit but i they do sound GOOD and i suppose as a spacebar switch they can work.. thankfully i can't get them ahhaha.. i do have a couple hundred clouds and just bought 105 KD200 .. i do have sum Bsun-x couple hundred so perhaps i can try them for sum spacebars.. bought those on a impulse only my wife like them so i'm not using them so perhaps ill sell them for the same price as i got them. Bsun is not my fav anymore don't know why i bought so many .. hahah i do sum crazy shit in this hobby..

Can small o rings replace geon stem spacer?

mest details, layering and separation are top, imaging could be also top but soundstage is not that big, bass can be boosted and treble toned down by higher resistance on output (it still has clarity but bass is way better/thicker sometimes even feel like ground is shaking xD maybe its that bone conductor effect)

lot of work with mest because those EST drivers demand a good source and fit otherwise they can cut air like laser, for some genres of music that treble clarity is positive either way warm or not my mest mk2 react strongly for different sources that makes it special just because it can be fine tuned (I like that those EST drivers pick up everything from the background I'm still discovering micro details)

for my ear mest sounded better, tighter with more clarity

Have tried the mx2a variant of the mx blacks? If u have can give ur thoughts compared to vint and hg

oddly enough, stock nixies in the spacebar have been hitting for me also I think creams are still 4mm travel since the pole well is deeper than other switches, so it's not long pole like other long pole switches, but it could be pole-bottom-out with 4mm travel, not sure tho

Very great tutorial, though the TX AP stabs you got should be the long pole version. I have normal HG cherry mx switches with tx stabs and i do not have the problem of the stabs bottiming out before the switch at all.

What's your take on just durock v2s or the new v3s if you have those yet? I watched your other vid on why you prefer clip ins and was just wondering your thoughts on durocks.

I used to spend multiple days on my stabs days! I swear! I convinced my self it was the worst thing about this hobby and litteraly made me give up on my passion but I found that it’s not that hard. Your video is amazing

Personally, SWK Catmints are the best spacebar switch. Always glassy, poppy, and punches high in volume.

Never had any problem with Stabies ever but these cheap cherry clip ins look good for the price lol.

Very cool

This video has an excellent description of properly seating keycaps on stabilizers. This is something that I rarely see people mention in their guides and I'm really happy to see it here because it can have a huge impact on your stabs and it can get your 5-sided dyesub caps working if they're warped. I have some things I disagree with, but it's just because I have different preferences with my stab tuning (I prefer the stab to bottom out, so I clip my cherry differently. I also have a very different lube method that I like). I'm really glad this video exists and I'll be pointing people here.

do you know of any other stabilizers that have the tall stem issue like you showed with the tx ap stabs?

You mentioned that the orientation of how you tune the wires matter, after you tune the wires on a flat surface, does it face down and go into the stab or face up?

2:45 is so real. i hate when stabs are too tight. sure, it's easier to make them not rattle and ticking, but losing out top out sound just makes it sound weird

From my experience, staebies have almost zero rattling and ticking. Cherry stabs come in second. Tx, on the other hand…jesus Christ idk what’s up with them.
