Thanks for your videos 2024. I am looking forward to the hobby year 😊2025 .
@leadbelcher7248 thank you so much mate 👍
I like the idea with the panzerfaust tokens. It's even more useful in Chain of Command, where they (as well as grenades and demo charges) are allocated to the squad rather than the individual trooper, so you can fire with whomever and just take a token away from the leader.
@HeadHunterSix hi mate and thank you. I use to use just a plain marker but when I realised I had lots of panzerfaust left over i I thought about using them
I love the idea with the mortars and weapon crews!
@@HeadHunterSix thanks mate 👍
always interested in British vs Italy North Africa
@e-4airman124 thanks mate and so do I and I need to sort them out for V3
looking forward to British
@e-4airman124 working on Germans then US, British after that
I think the Midgard rules look good. Looking forward to giving them a go. Happy Christmas and look forward to seeing more in the New Year.
Yep looking forward to getting stuck in to midgard. Thanks mate and hope you have a great Christmas 🎄
A lot of beautiful books, and projects...Have a nice end of year!
@philRminiatures thank you Phil and all the best to you mate 👍
50hrs a week get in a union mate, stop being exploited. You’re in the U.K. not USA
@PadrePython57 I know what you mean mate but all will quite down soon and they have just taken on new staff. All the best mate 👍
Cries in American. I don’t get 5 weeks off till I hit 15 years. Only 4 more years to go 😭
Great to hear from you, and hear your future plans. Looking forward to your first vid in 2025.
@richardhogg2600 Thank you Richard, hope it all goes to plan 😁👍
Life gets in the way but we are with you. Good idea to trim down the different systems. Just don't stop the content. Those Victrix models are so nice and you get loads for your money. Thinking of doing greeks and Romans for KOW as Kingdom of men
@bringbattlewargaming8720 thanks Rich. Yep to many rules and feeling swamped to get my head round them all, so just two sets will be so much better. Greeks and Romans sounds great. And yes Victrix are fantastic. Thank you 😁👍
Great imagination mate, Norman’s V Vikings sound really interesting. Totally sticking with you, I understand how life takes over. Working in retail at this time of year is manic, hope you find some time to put your feet up. Roll on retirement hey😂
@TheGreatMim thank you, Chris. I hope all is well with you, mate. And yes, bring on retirement 😁👍
Good luck with new project and figures. Hope you survive the big Christmas rush.
@jvcpaints thanks you and so do I. All the best mate 👍
Ok hope you're New project goes well and I hope you have a great Christmas and New year 🎅🎅🎅
@robandrosehobden3344 thank you and all the best to you mate 👍
Real world always has to come first, before our hobby. Looking forward to see your Midgard games. I am slowly painting up El Cid forces after seeing them in the rule book. Hope you have a great Christmas and New Year :)
@aledroberts6151 you are right, mate. And midgard should be great. Happy Christmas and New Year to you, mate 👍
Sometimes live does get in the way...and we all have bills to pay....so keep up the good work see you in 2025!👍
@rich_john thanks mate and I am looking forward to getting Christmas out the way and getting back into the hobby. 😁👍
Nice one, im on with midgard too, looks great doesnt it.
@stigofthedump181 thanks mate and can't wait to get stuck into Midgard 😁👍
Retail!!! Oh boy, have a good and safe season. We’ll see you in 2025.
@WARdROBEPlaysWWII yep it's a nightmare. Thanks Todd and all the best to you mate 👍
Awesome update mate,I'm the same loads to do in retail
@basicminiaturepainting Thanks, mate. And yep not nice in retail this time of year 😁👍
No flag patch in WWII (we used both the Union Jack and our own Red Ensign back then), but usually there’d be a “CANADA” patch on their shoulders.
Me thinks you were a little too basic with the colour application. However the message is loud and clear and an interesting way to get through that pile of plastic. So worth a look I think.
The failed print , I believe isn't a fail at all buddy. Looks epic and great job making it work.
@2ManyHobbies16 thank you mate 👍
Nice scatter terrain with the misprint. Great looking force. Love the PnzrIV langs.
@@jvcpaints thanks mate 👍
The force is going to look excellent
@basicminiaturepainting thanks mate 👍
Great idea with panzerfaust tokens, love it, great to use up them misprint’s too.👍
@@TheGreatMim thanks Chris 👍
Good idea on the Panzer faust fella. Also love what you've done with the failed print to. 👍👍👍👍👍
@daddomgaming6472 thank you mate 👍
I feel gutted. The SAS are dead, vehicle MG’s nerfed, fire and maneuver nerfed, small squads nerfed, thank you version 3
@adiebland9220 thanks mate and yep it won't be the same now unless I play 2nd for games with the sas
Great video, and a very optimistic view of things to come, I applaud you. I feel heart broken and the more Vid’s I watch the more I feel gutted, I’ve just used easy army to build a 21 dice German platoon with 8 nebelwerfers in it, I’m not saying I’ll use it, but it wont be long until the tournament arena is full of this. Reg and inexperienced tanks are pinned if hit by any weapons with an AP value (same as version 1, good luck with Russian AT rifles, especially now the range is 48). I watched a beautiful Panther shoot a Sherman, who actually hit on a 5, but the Sherman was in light cover and made a cover save. I don’t need to say any more……..goodbye Bolt Action, please employ a better rule writer for V4
@@adiebland9220 yep it's going to be very interesting how things pan out. Thank you 😊
I like the new army rules, I mean you've got to set bounderies with any war game. I'd just refuse to play meta lists in the last edition, even felt kind of sorry for the tools who brought all those terrible looking spear fighters. But totally agree about the new rules, 2nd ed was perfect! So I'm going to stick to the old edition, even the commuity patch to MMGs ect was better than this.
@@dannyhalas9408 Mate it’s so good to hear I’m not the only person who feels this way, I’m sick of reading “inexperienced troops are so much better, and it’s more killie”, because the battle reports so far only show heavy weapons are the new meta, good luck
Great work
@rich_john thanks mate 👍
Great video, thanks!
@@MrScottson1 thank you
Brilliant update, so impressed with your 3D printing mate, you’ve took to it like a duck to water, the very thought of it makes me nervous, lack of confidence on my part I guess. Seriously though, you’ve done really well with it, thanks for sharing your journey👍🏻
@TheGreatMim Thanks, Chris, and I would suggest getting into printing. I was lost and dead worried about it and looked at lots of UA-cam and the FB group I mentioned in the video. You could also ask me anything at any time and I will always help you. 😁👍
@@kitchenwargamers4141Thanks mate, maybe one day🙂
Great update Mark. I really need to find some files for artillery now that we know what it's going to take to build up artillery support for v3. Thanks for showing your work.
@WarGamingNewbHistorical thanks Josh, and with the printer in the long run, it's making things a lot more easy and cheaper 😀👍
Great update and congratulations on 1.5K subs :). I am getting tempted to get a 3D printer but am going to clear some of the stash of opportunity first :)
@aledroberts6151 thanks mate and it was a big step for me but loving it now 👍
Nice update mate
@basicminiaturepainting thanks mate 👍
The change to light brown is great compromise....look great
@rich_john thanks mate 👍
You gonna preorder the new bolt action edition or you think you will wait for it to come out?
@arifmeighan3162 pre ordered it as soon as it went up 😁👍
I think it’s a good idea, the way you’ve speed painted them for playing with. The toothpick guys look good, but you know they’ll always be that now don’t you😂
@TheGreatMim thanks Chris, I am off work so will catch up with your Normandy adventure 😀 👍
Looking great!
@MedievalWargamer thanks mate, the painting is the worst I have ever done but they look ok on the table top 👍
They are looking sweet mate
@basicminiaturepainting thanks mate I have just finished my project goal today so video will be up about it next week 👍
Wow, looks so crisp and clean. Well done
@bringbattlewargaming8720 sorry late getting back to you but thanks really enjoying 3d printing
Nice work, so when are you taking orders 😂
@rich_john 😂 thanks mate 👍
Awesome print. Now print panzers..gun look always chubby.
@smoothbrush4722 thanks mate, mass tank Battles on the way 😂👍
Ralph’s advice is good also after washing put the model with supports in a tub of hot water it helps remove supports and give more of a wash. Another tip don’t over cure as a 3d print can get brittle and also can crack. Have fun and if something fails like a tank you could always use it as a destroyed tank. I have been printing for over 10 years and I still get a fail so don’t worry to much
@walkaboutgamez2502 thanks mate, what time do you cure for, like tanks or infantry models? 😁👍
I take my hat off to you mate, you’ve done a remarkable job of teaching yourself. I just haven’t got the guts, I worry I’d break it, get in a mess or just not get it to print anything right. Cause, the wife would kill me if I tried buying one anyway😂 Can’t wait to see where your 3D venture takes you😉👍
@TheGreatMim thanks Chris, this was 2nd hand so I thought go for it 😁👍
Looks great and really makes me think it is time to join the 3 D printing community :)
@aledroberts6151 thanks mate, the final push was it was 2nd hand 😁👍
Wow, nice one mark I know you had your doubts with resins for a long time but that tank looks great 👍
@wayne8340 thanks Wayne 😁👍
Well done
@jonshadow4052 thanks Al, 😁👍
My tips would be to protect both printer and washing station from direct sunlight as the covers do not filter out all UV and resin left in the tank and resin diluted into the alcohol in the wash will rapidly cure. Where I am obliged to situate my printer gets a lot of sunlight so I keep it covered at all times with a small sheet. I also only remove prints after the sun has gone down and I keep the alcohol tank separate from the station when not in use away from sunlight. I also empty the resin from the printer after every print as sometimes you can get unnoticed flaws in the print which result in small deposits of hardened resin on the FEP. These can damage the FEP on the next print as the plate presses them into the FEP. On the subject of auto supports I use them all the time and have never had a problem but you can add additional supports manually rather than add all the supports yourself. Many STL files come in supported and unsupported versions which saves you the trouble of doing even this. Take your time as you will soon find yourself like a kid in a candy store, printing models faster than you can possibly paint them.
@@RalphAstley wow thank you for all the advice 😁👍
Looking good! A new hobby within a hobby!
@richardhogg2600 it sure is mate. Thank you 😁👍
A cracking gift mate
