Great work, I've always used army painter strong tone from dropper bottle. But I've found it a bit shinny recently, despite a good shake

I use Lifecolor paints to achieve dust effects. They are intended for air brushes so would give you the same result as a rattle can. I brush them on as I don't have an air brush. They do a box set called 'Dust and Rust' which has two types of dust colour.
