encumbered? head to nearest settlement with a workstation, drop your junk and scrap it. example: 50 buckets weigh 150lbs (3lbs each) and give 4 Steel each, but when you scrap them and convert to just the Steel components, 1 Steel weighs at 0.1lbs so you scrap for 200 Steel and it weighs 20lbs now. A couple good ones: - When picking up an object, you can use left/right triggers to rotate the item, BUT if you click in the left stick, it will change the axis the item rotates on - When in settlement build mode, you can hold the select object button then move the sticks to move the object, alternatively, holding left bumper and then the sticks will move the object up and down
on PC you can use WSAD to move the PC while in menu and arrow keys to navigate the menu. if you hold shift and use WSAD the PC will be stationary and you will instead be able to navigate the workshop menu. useful if one hand is busy for whatever reason o.O
There's a couple of places where there's sentry bots behind doors that will come out and attack you after you do something nearby, like open a door. (Good example of this is at the National Guard Training Yard.) In each of these cases, you can use some sort of area effect damage to wake up the robot, leaving it stuck behind the door unable to hurt you while you can still damage it as it spins around and glitches through the door. Just keep hitting the VATS button until you can target it, and then shoot it a few times, and repeat. It's slow going, but it'll let you take one down when you're still very low level.
Hate pip boy light that it surrounds you, weak? And your menu is ugly if you change it's color? Use mining helmet, they have spotlight, can be modded to ultra bright too (they are strong as regular , way stronger than Power Armor helmet's, the bright one is too intense for me.)
Yeah I still can’t find the settings to change PB text color. I like to have vibrant orange text but it seems to only apply to pause menu. Even if I change pb color scrolls it stays that hard to see yellowish color. I wish they made the PB more customizable.
You can group-select items in build mode by holding the build button. So that means all connected or nearby structures to whatever you're group selecting on are also selected. Whilst ive never used this to move large amounts of stuff at once, i have used it to cheese hitboxes and glitch shack pieces inside of walls to "repair" them... And for any non-clipping build objects, you can place them on a rug and achieve a similar effect by moving the rug. Ive seen a lot of Fallout 4 build channels use these methods, and that is where i took them from.
I just started using that a couple days ago. For turrets, i build a tall scaffold platfor, put a floor on it, then stairs leading up, then place the turret on top. That gives the turret an excellent vantage point it otherwise wouldn't have. Then i grab the entire thing and move it into place. When bulding gaurd posts, i do something similar by using a shack foundation that has the legs holding it up so i can elevate the gaurd post if needed, or more importantly, build them on sloped ground without them looking like they're floating. I just figured out that trick yesterday.
Regarding Grenades, for exploding on impact this is what Baseball Grenades are there for. Combined with Demolition Expert Rank 2 you can throw grenades very precisely over a long distance. Easy to take out big enemies of armored turrets with Baseball Grenades.
In Survival mode pick up all the empty bottles including baby bottles. You can fill these at water locations. I suggest do it at dirty water sources because most food crafting calls for dirty water.
Just for clarification! The finishes/melee moves are performed by double tapping the power attack button in 3rd person. You can also do it with melee weapons equipped and with the gun bash/bayonet it just has to be in 3rd person. Some of them do work in first person though as well! I’ve seen a lot of different ways people say to perform it and this is the way I’ve found works every time 💪🏼
Moving the car mechanic is easier if you drop a rifle with a Bayonet or a pistol with a Bayonet and then pick it up (like that corpse) and voila. You can use bayonetted rifles and pistols to fly the pick emup truck too. stand up in the bed and jam the knife point into the lip of the rear window.
It works on painted vehicles. Rusted ones won't move. Also, don't use a weapon you want to keep. I've had weapons mysteriously disappear while pushing a car. A vehicle is worth 15 steel. Probably just go gather buckets and cans b4 you can push a car all the way to a settlement but...its fun to try.
Huge one if you use power armor. I know this because it's all I've ever used from day one, but it seems to be completely unknown to others. ALL forms of Action Point usage, from sprinting, to VATS, to heavy melee attacks, to using the jetpack, massively increase the drain on your Fusion Cores. If you want them to last as long as possible, avoid any action that uses AP. Also get yourself the Nuclear Physicist and Scrounger perks. The latter increases Fusion Core drop rates because they're also ammo for the Gatling Laser.
yeah don't even hold your breath, lol. Once finished with enemies i usually exit PA zo search snd loot, saving half of FC usage. Fast travel to target also don't drain. Note however while i always take scrounger perk asap it do not drop fusion cores at any level. Simply at higher level you find those randomly regardless of perks.
@MolnarG007 Scrounger is confirmed to affect Fusion Cores drop rates. Again, it's ammunition for the Gatling Laser. It increases the chances of Fusion Cores being found specifically in big loot chests and in green military ammo boxes. I've had x16 spawn in some of the larger military bases thanks to Scrounger.
If the car is outside of your settlement border but close you can actually put a turret on a rug and move the rug around which will QUICKLY move cars around that you can reach.
Ah. The, for some reason less famous "get dead somebody to help move the car"-trick. Very nifty, also outside settlements if you want to create an adhoc barrier or roadblock. Even in situations where there is no other obvious uses for this great mechanic, it never gets old moving heavy objects otherwise immovable by poking at them with dead, limb bodies. Even thinkjng about it makes me smile.
You can scrap clothes, gas masks, burned textbooks, all sorts of items that aren't moddable by dropping on the ground in settlement then use workshop. This even lowers your settlement build size slightly.
Don't even need to scrap items. Dropping them on the ground in a settlement then storing them in the workshop lowers build limit. weapons with lots of mods seem to work best (mods and attachments count as separate items i believe) and you can repeat as many times as needed to build huge settlements...beware of lag if you overdo it though
ive put over 500hrs minimum into fallout 4, recently booted it back up for the next gen update....... I had absolutely no idea alot of these things could be done! I've also been on "fallout-tube" for over 8 years so its very hard to impress me. Well Done on the awesome vid!
If you are overloaded you can put it out your inventory in pip-boy. Than you pick it up and carry it (like the corpses). If you have more then 6 same items they will be just one with the amount. So you can carry hundreds of water, miniguns, etc. who weights tons … and throwing it too.
The best if you have a Molerat, or torn limb. You can put a settlement worth of junks in them, unlimited. Then take it to your base settlement. Best way to transport stuff after you scrap a settlement or clear a big location.
Anything collecting things to your workshop stops if reached a limit. Take out harvest, purified water, scavenger station provided junks etc. regularly.
One reason why moving a car while holding a corpse does not work on all cars is because you really need a surface that the car will not hang up on. I found this out while moving tires. Moving tires works best when you actually pick them up instead of scooting them along the ground.
4:19 I used this technique to flip the truck outside of Hangman's Alley on its side, so it acts as a kind of barrier and funnel. Any enemy who steps around is met with two turrets. Also, the Mercer Safehouse guy hangs out just outside there since that's where it was chosen for this playthrough. 👍👍👍👍
There are several hot spots in Nuka World that will respawn encounters if you just leave that cell and return, no real time or in game time needs to pass. This is a great way to collect gear and ammo, as well as potential legendries. The trash cans dotted about do not reset so you can store items to sell or transport and get right back to farming.
I like to tag for search in junk inventory component view gold and silver It's surprising what contains those, scrap them to component by dropping and scrapping in settlement, except gold bar that is the only item worth more then it's components. But a silver fork for example worth more if you take the silver out.
Save collecting bobbleheads until your perks are maxed out and they will push your stats beyond full. Also don’t do that with the You are Special book because it won’t push you passed full powerup. You probably covered getting your stats above full in another video already.
Neat trick for that. Get your stats to max and then get addicted to as many chems as possible to lower your stats back down. You can then use the You're Special book duping to raise your stats back up to 10. Then take a hit of addictol to remove the negative stats and you will have stats much higher than 10 on each.
actually there's a way to do it with the special book too. If you take a chem that lowers attributes (Or get exhausted on survival) so your stats temporarily fall below 10, you can use the book then and when the effect wears off it returns to normal PLUS the additional point from the book.
Drugged water stacks the -1 perception effect. I currently have a 60 in perception. I was walking out in the open and got ambushed by mole rats and still didn't see that one coming.
For melee weapons (I think bashing does too) if you hit something and then immediately switch between your different player view points , you can attack faster (example, I have a super sledge in first person, as soon as I hit an enemy immediately switch to third person, and then you just repeat the cycle until you’re fight Is over)
Supply line settlers will not leave power armor. If you want Atom cat themed and powered supply routes: 0. Equip your supply line settlers with weapons first, talking to them near settlements will comand them to leave their power armor. 1. Watch where the supply route stops in your settlement. 2. Put a power armor of your choice at that spott. (Minuteman, BoS, pink, shark,X-01... whatever floats your boat) 3. Load the workbench with goodies , f.e. Purified water, lower the defences. To raise the chance of attacks. 4. Wait somewhere else until the settlement is under attack. 5. Make a save before responding. 6. If the supply settler isn't there , reload the save, wait 1 hour, respond again. 7. During an atack the settler will jump into the power armor and will continue using it. Don't worry about repairs, they will fix broken parts by themselves. Have fun. 👍❤️ P.s.: It also works on route, walk with the settler. During an attack, leave the power armor close to the settler.
If the provisioner is in the settlement, couldnt you just go into the build menu, highlight and select the provisioner, and tell them to enter power armor? I havent tried that yet myself, so I'm just guessing that might be possible.
@@sherrykathman3309 , Hi No i tried that doesnt work with settlers, you only can tell companions to use power armor. You can order companions to run supply lines.

There are weapon benches scattered throughout. You can scrap guns for their parts and greatly reduce their weight. The more points you have in scrapper, the more items you can get when you do this. Pipe guns with long ridiculous names yield some of the most parts. Simple pipe pistols only really get you steel and wood, sometimes a gear or two. This play through I've been grabbing everything I can and I haven't had to buy anything from vendors like glass, or steel, or gears, etc. Scrap scrap scrap. Especially if you are a builder.
Ive been doing that since i started playing a couple weeks ago. Today, i got on a building kick and actually used up virtually all of my steel and wood. I started with over a thousand steel and nearly 400 wood. Now I have about 40 wood and steel. Oops...
Scrapping weapons in workshop mode at settlements will increase the build space available, so if you are running out of build space for a settlement, drop firearms in the settlement and scrap them through workshop mode (do not use workbench) and you will slightly increase build space for your settlement.
Don't forget to use you can command your companions: radioactive barrel with an army helmet? Fusion core on the ground in a radiated cove in a cave? Just send your companion in to grab! Also send them forward to mirelurk nests, ghoul infected areas, etc. If enemy visible you can literally tell them to attack.

Try throwing the corpse at the car to move it??? I launched a mole rat and it hit a car moving if it over a couple feet 🤷🏼♂️ I had no idea you could throw things thank you
A feature I missed is turning stolen Power Armor into not stolen. Simply buy a new Power Frame and attach the Power Armor pieces to the new frame. The game only tracks the Power Frame as stolen. Also it’s good to do this at secluded settlement like Red Rocket cause if you’re seen in a populated area NPC’s will turn hostile and try to destroy you.
Picking up a new companion but don’t want to send old one to a settlement back out on where to send companion they will go to where you picked them up so example nick or piper will go back to diamond city to the agency or the republic
Minor addition for Tip 3: There are some occasions where no matter how far away you drag an item from it's original home in order to steal it, the owner will STILL be alerted. I learned this while in Far Harbor. I REALLY wanted the souvenir coffee cups, plates and glasses that are at the weapon vendor shop (as there is no way to obtain them without stealing them). I dragged them halfway across the island, crouched AND activated a Stealth Boy and I STILL had everyone in Far Harbor Aggro me when I returned to the dock. A similar thing happened in Bunker Hill. Some locations, for whatever reason, are impossible to steal from (as far as I can tell).
One thing I didn't find out about until recently is when hacking a terminal, if you highlight and then click on a matched pair of brackets such as ( ) or { } then it will either remove a dud answer from the screen or reset your attempts! There can be other characters between the brackets and you can us an individual bracket more than once I think as long as it is a unique pair. So for example if you see something like (%$.(*) then you will be able to click on the 2 "sets" of brackets, using the one bracket twice and remove 2 dud answers (or remove one and reset your attempts) making it much easier to find the one you want and hack the terminal!
you can pick up some of the loose big tires and use them for mobile cover. atleast i did outside of the combat zone. idk if it helped having high sneak due to playing stealth characters. but i put the camera in third person mode and as the raider walked past me i turned towards her. i just kept her from seeing my character. i was pleasantly surprised.
Prop flying: pick up a flat object and look down at it. Jump on top when there’s a wall behind you and keep walking backwards and you’ll fly up the wall
Tip: You can skip the overtly long black transition screen when aiming with a scope by simply double-pressing the "aim" button. This will skip the black transition and allow you to aim the scope immedietly. You can also double-press "aim" to quickly exit the scope while cycling a bolt-action rifle or single-action revolver, which will give your character greater mobility while shooting.
You can reeverse steal weapons, to equip non settler npc's. For example : The Atom cats in my playthroughs are equipped with atom cat coloured gattling lasers.
Teal, my favorite colour ! But in F4 I prefer light-grey ... Playing F4 since Nov,2015 and still find places and new stuff to do. Adding about 100 mods also helps 😜
Armor mod works on are not specific to the armor variant (like sturdy or heavy). So if you have a regular metal chestpiece with the polished mod, you can take that mod and put it on a heavy metal chestpiece without the need of the armorer perk.
I have a bizarre relationship with Fallout 4 and that is I first started playing it on my PS4 through the PS Now subscription service, which is now part of PS Plus Extra/Premium. I enjoyed it so much I went out and bought the GOTY Edition on disk but when I tried to play that it installed as a totally separate game and I couldn't use my save games with it. I did discover that I could still use the PS Now version with the addons that came with the disk version so I deleted the base disk game but kept the addons because I couldn't be bothered to start all over again. The main problem I have now is that I've let my PS Plus subsciption run out for two weeks so that I can move the payment date, which means I can't even install the update!
I didn't know about using a box or bucket. I knew you could pick stuff up and move to where you're unseen and steal them. Did not know about the bucket.
A bit easier than the corpse but has a chance of the car freaking out and flying away every once in a while. I use a pipe pistol or rifle to move cars back to my settlement it only seems to work on cars high enough out of the ground though. I could only get 2 in santuary to move at all for me
One thing I discovered fairly recent...... You can target throwables, grenades, Molotovs, requires a bit of timing, but there's a few seconds before the throwables leave the hands of enemies that they can be targeted. I discovered this when dealing with the forged in the ironworks factory. Dude on the roof was throwing mollies and I vats him noticing the bottle was targeted in his hand. Once shot it exploded. I next went looking for tests, and tried on the super mutant suicider.... No luck, but then I ran into raiders with grenades and well..... I timed it right to shoot the grenade before it's thrown and it exploded in the raider's hand, Took place on a highway bridge so it dawned on me I recreated the opening fight scene from Deadpool. Minus the car wreck.
I'm not sure this counts as a hidden mechanic, but if you're a power armor collector like myself, a very easy way to steal an entire set of power armor is to use the syringer and pax darts. The darts seem to have a very high success rate and cause the enemy to stop attacking temporarily. Then if you have the steal perk, you can run up to them, crouch down and attempt to steal the fusion core. You can also use the pacify perk to do this.
I'll definitely give that a go, I knew you could steal the fusion cores to get them out but it's never as simple as sneaking up on them. Will try the darts method!
@@BunkzGaming I was able to steal the hellfire armor from the pyromaniac quest using this method, even though he'd already started shooting at me. And using pacify (and a lot of quicksaves) I stole all but one of the suits of power armor from the enclave remnants quest.
You can shoot it if they have high enough health you can get the frame if they survive the blast. The penetrator perk you can hit the core from essentially any angle
And when you are stealing the fusion core, put in a life grenade and the driver will explode out of the armor. Starting at the back end of a brotherhood patrol and they will not notice that is was you, they will stay calm and don’t a care a s**t that one of them exploded. Just as a normal thing on patrol.
I've figured some of these out but you helped explain them better and helped me understand them vs my assumptions. Like throwing objects...Definitely didn't know ya could throw them further 😂
Gorrammit! "R" to throw? I was grabbing all the crates and barrels from Wicked Shipping and moving them to Abernathy Farm. That would have made it so much easier than rotating the mouse and releasing LOL
If you set the color of your Pip-Boy to white, it is much easier to read your map while under the chameleon effect. Otherwise, it's blurry and illegible.
Watching this video, I can tell, quick save has a few hidden feature too. First of all, you don't need to go to the menu to quicksave every time. It automaticly do with the press of F5. (And with F9 you can load the latest quicksave automaticly) Secondly, you should use the normal save instead, as quicksave can end up in a crash, which than break the game if you reload it. You can lose hours if not days of gameplay this way.
I play on console so using F5 & F9 isn't possible 😂 unless there is a quicker version of it on controllers? Yeah I've heard about that though never had an issue with mine
@@BunkzGaming I don't know controller settings. You see, Fallout 4 is a shooter game. Shooter games are by design for mouse and keyboard, as you never gonna be able to aim with a controller as well as with a mouse, without using cheats.
@@BunkzGaming Saving in survival is only by sleeping, however you can immediately cancel it if you don't need sleep to not get hungry and thirsty. If timed right it will still say game saved. You can still catch Diseases though.
Perhaps a bit off topic but everyone here seems active so I will ask...is muffled effective on arm armor? Or is it only effective on the legs? I cant get a definite answer. Thanks.
Fallout 4 is much more fun to play in god mode. It has a lot of flaws. #1 you are VERY weak and can only carry a few items and armor (with a 10 strength and the carry bonuses or even wearing power armor with calibrated shocks). God mode lets you carry as much as you want and you dont have to keep using vertibird grenades every 5 minutes. #2 the game is good until about level 100 and then becomes ridiculously hard. For example on Very Easy you will need to shoot a charred feral ghoul about 6 times in the face with an advanced combat shotgun at point blank range with rifleman maxed to kill it. At harder settings than very easy I'd imagine you will need to shoot it more than 50 times. God mode is much better and you can just use the kill command to get rid of it. #3 After level 100, you are forced to wear power armor constantly or you will be killed on EVERY encounter even on Very Easy. So much more fun to play it in god mode. #4 The Enclave NPCs are about 20-50 levels higher than you and you wont survive any encounter with them after level 100 even in modded power armor unless you set up a ton of mines ahead of time and let them run into them. So instead of losing 75% health and having your power armor blown to bits before you even know they're there, god mode and killall is much more fun. #5 the attacks on your settlement will be with sentry bots and rust devil tanks that you have to shoot dozens of times. Rather than go through that pain, just target each one and use the kill command. Much more fun. Also in god mode you can set up 20 missile launchers around every spawn point and they get blown up right away when they spawn and you dont have to use all your resources. So for max fun after level 100, toggle god mode as soon as you enter the game and just leave it on. Best way to play Fallout 4.
for settlements, if i put guns ammo armor etc into storage will the settlers actually use the gear given to them? id love to see the settlers with randomized gear instead of me having to go through and give them weapons etc
No not usually.... they need to have the weapon in their inventory already. Otherwise they just punch the enemies bare handed. And at least a couple ammo for each weapon. Then it'll consider the ammo unlimited for the settler. I just give each settler a couple weapons each.
@@Nil2none i just threw out a bunch of guns i picked up while looting on the ground with the varying ammo, before the institute raiding mission so theyd have to pick them up, after taking the weapon they had of course, which they then started to pick them up, interesting mechanic to be honest
With the power of some of the weapons you obtain throughout the game combined with the body armor, I never need to take cover. Heck, I only use two weapons: the Spray-n-Pray and the Splattercannon.
Yes, Fallout 4 has a cover mode. You can hide behind the edge of a wall and peek out. This feature does not work with handrails or any other environment. It only works on the corners of the walls. If there is a rock, this feature won't work. If it is a mountain, it won't work. Also, it doesn't work with every wall corner. I don't know why they even bothered to clog up the gaming systems with this almost useless feature. It's just as easy to move in and out of cover with or without aiming. This feature might work on trees, but I can't remember? It's more of a pain in the neck, then useful. Especially because they didn't even tell the players that it exists. In the Mass Effect universe? This feature was useful because every part of the environment could be used for cover, and blind fire was allowed. But, it's pointless and useless in Fallout 4.
If you like collecting a ton of stuff but you always run out of room because you don't have strong back and your companions with you you can actually drop an item on the ground after they say they can't care anymore and then ask them to pick it up and they will even if they are over encumbered

Didn't know that one. I like it. Thanks.
I have a bit over 3300 hours in FO4 (PC). Did not know about the HOLD-RELOAD to throw an object far. That will be handy for Grenades.
Hate pip boy light that it surrounds you, weak? And your menu is ugly if you change it's color?
Use mining helmet, they have spotlight, can be modded to ultra bright too (they are strong as regular , way stronger than Power Armor helmet's, the bright one is too intense for me.)
Or just change the color of the pipboy light
I suggest do it at dirty water sources because most food crafting calls for dirty water.
this is actually so crazy
Where are the dirty water sources?

Any surface of water really, it should give you a button to fill bottles instead of drink if you duck close by the waters edge.
Ah didn't know about that with the rifle / pistol. I'll give that a go 😊
It works on painted vehicles.
Easy to forget to command your companion. Army helmet on a radiated barrel? Mirelurk eggs/nest? Send your companion!
"Cave full of biohazard barrels and probably monsters but you don't want to dirty your freshly polished power armor? Send your companion!"
@@BenKloti-to5lw true but getting zhe resources go or scrapping them is nice. :)
ive put over 500hrs minimum into fallout 4, recently booted it back up for the next gen update....... I had absolutely no idea alot of these things could be done! I've also been on "fallout-tube" for over 8 years so its very hard to impress me. Well Done on the awesome vid!
What's "Fallout tube"?
Taging material for search is easier in Pip-Boy - press component view button in Junk section
+tip: put a large bayonet on your weapon it won't affect any if it's other parameters like AP cost, but dropping them they move cars, big bodies, etc.
Didnt know you could throw objects, thanks. Subscribed
The corpse car thing is apart of the push mechanic. You can use a turret to push trashcan carlas brahmain of the roof of the house in sanctuary
I first noticed this on the shovel museum in nuka world.
If you want Atom cat themed and powered supply routes:
0. Equip your supply line settlers with weapons first, talking to them near settlements will comand them to leave their power armor.
1. Watch where the supply route stops in your settlement.
2. Put a power armor of your choice at that spott. (Minuteman, BoS, pink, shark,X-01... whatever floats your boat)
Have fun. 👍❤️
P.s.: It also works on route, walk with the settler.
During an attack, leave the power armor close to the settler.
If the provisioner is in the settlement, couldnt you just go into the build menu, highlight and select the provisioner, and tell them to enter power armor? I havent tried that yet myself, so I'm just guessing that might be possible.
@@sherrykathman3309 , Hi
No i tried that doesnt work with settlers, you only can tell companions to use power armor.
You can order companions to run supply lines.
3rd person animations aren't just limited to unarmed. It's ANY power attack.. melee, bashing, bayonets. I've also gotten them to work by double tapping the power attack button since I like to run grenades.
The perk where you can still move normally while over-cumbered is op. I’m walking around with 17k lbs of items. Like it’s nothing!
So far I'm only 2 minutes into the vid but you taught me how to play basketball so thanks! I think I kept forgetting to look it up or when I did the same thing always happened: I would get distracted by some other Fallout thing that would grab my attention and forget what I was originally looking up. It's almost as if when I'm not playing Fallout, I'm still playing Fallout...
That is the truth. We are still playing fallout while not playing.
you can also target enemy grenades and missiles in vats
That's what the command console is for!
@@LittleRiverBees-or6qp If you're playing on PS5 or any other console (like myself) there is no command console, only mods.

So for example if you see something like
(%$.(*)
then you will be able to click on the 2 "sets" of brackets, using the one bracket twice and remove 2 dud answers (or remove one and reset your attempts) making it much easier to find the one you want and hack the terminal!
Also the higher your INT the less false answer shown. Those lab coats are good for something!
you can pick up some of the loose big tires and use them for mobile cover. atleast i did outside of the combat zone. idk if it helped having high sneak due to playing stealth characters. but i put the camera in third person mode and as the raider walked past me i turned towards her. i just kept her from seeing my character. i was pleasantly surprised.
Prop flying: pick up a flat object and look down at it. Jump on top when there’s a wall behind you and keep walking backwards and you’ll fly up the wall
Tip:
You can skip the overtly long black transition screen when aiming with a scope by simply double-pressing the "aim" button. This will skip the black transition and allow you to aim the scope immedietly.
You can also double-press "aim" to quickly exit the scope while cycling a bolt-action rifle or single-action revolver, which will give your character greater mobility while shooting.
Didn't know about throwing things. There have been times when I wished that I could have thrown something like that.
You can reeverse steal weapons, to equip non settler npc's.
For example : The Atom cats in my playthroughs are equipped with atom cat coloured gattling lasers.
The ammo from dropped weapons is useful to know. Thanks!

But in F4 I prefer light-grey ...
Playing F4 since Nov,2015 and still find places and new stuff to do.
Adding about 100 mods also helps 😜
This is not completely true because I have also flipped synths over my back with the finisher as well as ghouls
Armor mod works on are not specific to the armor variant (like sturdy or heavy).
So if you have a regular metal chestpiece with the polished mod, you can take that mod and put it on a heavy metal chestpiece without the need of the armorer perk.
In the woods? Ran into gouhls or got ambushed by mole rats or a bear? Climb the nearest slanted tree an get the high ground
Throwing tires at the cars throughout the Commonwealth can move them, better than using a corpse
cool, i was wondering if you could throw things
I didn't know about using a box or bucket. I knew you could pick stuff up and move to where you're unseen and steal them. Did not know about the bucket.
I didn’t know you could grab stuff until I was like level 30
I timed it right to shoot the grenade before it's thrown and it exploded in the raider's hand,
Took place on a highway bridge so it dawned on me I recreated the opening fight scene from Deadpool. Minus the car wreck.
super mutant suicider I have got them to explode using an explosive minigun. Not sure if a regular minigun would work.
@@LittleRiverBees-or6qp i did mine with the classic 10mm. Mildly modified.

Great stuff. Thank you.
Watching this video, I can tell, quick save has a few hidden feature too.
First of all, you don't need to go to the menu to quicksave every time. It automaticly do with the press of F5. (And with F9 you can load the latest quicksave automaticly)
Secondly, you should use the normal save instead, as quicksave can end up in a crash, which than break the game if you reload it. You can lose hours if not days of gameplay this way.

Wow, you have a lot to learn.
I've been playing this game since it came out and I had no idea I could change the pipboy light colour.
for settlements, if i put guns ammo armor etc into storage will the settlers actually use the gear given to them? id love to see the settlers with randomized gear instead of me having to go through and give them weapons etc
No not usually.... they need to have the weapon in their inventory already. Otherwise they just punch the enemies bare handed. And at least a couple ammo for each weapon. Then it'll consider the ammo unlimited for the settler. I just give each settler a couple weapons each.

This game is a complete piece of crap.
