    I want to thank ~ you for making this video! My Mom had been fighting cancer when a man came to the house to ask about her possibly wanting to resurface the drive… He THEN (being the nice guy he was… TOTAL SARCASM!) says he’s sorry for what she’s going thru and FOR HER HED DO IT FOR A CHEAPER AMOUNT. My Mom wanted to have it done anyway BUT with Chemo she let it go UNTIL THIS NICE MAN SHOWED UP… long story short… HE RESURFACES THE DRIVEWAY & he tells her give it a few days & the crack filler would blend in with the rest of the driveway… a few days later… IT LOOKS JUST AS HORRIBLE AS WHEN HE FINISHED UP! 😡 She tried for months to get ahold of this man and found out he was back in TX and blocked her…. She found another company to come and go back over it the next summer and THEY DID A HORRIBLE JOB AS WELL! Idk what they used to pour over the driveway… COLORED WATER MAYBE BUT THE PATCHES STILL SHOW THRU! She has since passed away but I’d love to make it look like it did when they had it poured originally ❤ I think I CAN DO A BETTER JOB THAN THE CRIMINALS THAT GOT HER FOR THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS!!!

    First, great video. I had to build my door, to cover a 54 inch arch way. My door is identical to yours. I used tongue and groove siding and 1.5 inch screws that looked like #4 finishing nails. And, plenty of glue for the T&G. I used Reliabilt hardware. The hardware was good, but the graphics left a lot to be desired. So much so, I had to go to UA-cam. My door is pretty heavy, so I may have to cut it in half. The cost was about the same if I had bought the door, but I wanted to build it. $150 for the wood, $90 for the hardware, $40 for stain, glue and screws. Using plywood would have been faster and cheaper.

    Uhhh, unmentioned is: 1st step to have a clean paved driveway. 2nd step carrying it outside. 3rd step attaching a hose that will reach. I'm in an apartment with no usable outdoor area, no hose, no fence to hang it to drip-dry. Too many assumed requirements. Sorry, moving on to find a DIY solution that works in place.

    I have an area rug that got pretty dirty and I was about to throw it out until I saw your video. Used your ideas and now the rug is drying off. I actually got the rug much cleaner than I ever imagine and I didn't use a pressure washer although I have one. I have lots of area rugs in my house and now I know how to keep them clean. BTW I have no idea how people put these heavy dripping rugs in their cars when washing the rug on a patio or driveway works just as well. Thanks.

    Thank you for the tutorial! I have almost the exact same cordless blinds in my window right above my kitchen sink, with coincidentally a very similar faucet as your demonstration so this was especially helpful! I've been wanting to adjust them since I installed them about 6 months ago, and you gave me the courage to do it today. It looks and feels better to have the blinds fit the window now. I wonder if you have any advice for after pulling down they hang just slightly lower on the right? They did this before I altered them and it's the same after altering as well. I've tried different techniques to pull them down including just pulling from the left, with no results. Thanks!

    what about grounding the antenna ?

    • @TammysHomeTips
      @TammysHomeTips 4 місяці тому

      As per electrical codes, indeed, your best bet is to ground the mast, and the RG 6 cables accordingly in order to avoid any lightning strikes that will indeed damage your tv set. The very best grounding technique is a cold water pipe for the RG 6 cables, while a ground rod for the mast used to mount the tv antennas or system head end on. You can never have enough grounding. Also, when making a RG 6 connector, a pocket knife is all ya need, number one, and as far as crimping the ferral, a crimping tool is best suited to be used in that reguard. The much newer RG 6 connectors have a entirely different crimping tool as the ferrall are much longer than the ones times past. You can build cable tv system head ends which each tv antenna used is a cantilever mounted antenna cut to the frequency of the desired tv station to be recieved which goes into the system head end building and into the recievers, processors, and combines thenout into the system which uses trunk amplifiers, line extenders, and bridgers along with tap units to connect up cable tv subscribers which the tap units range from two port design to 4 port to 8 port designs in order to handle as many cable tv subscribers from one tap unit in the trunk line or trunk run.

    can you put a tarp or something under the rug when washing the rug on a driveway?

    • @TammysHomeTips
      @TammysHomeTips 5 місяців тому

      It wouldn’t hurt to try it that way! It wouldn’t have worked for my place because of the incline on my driveway would probably make it hard for the rug to stay in place for me to clean it but I can see how it would work in a area without an incline. ☺️

    My mirror has the mirror clips. How would I work around the clips?

    • @TammysHomeTips
      @TammysHomeTips 6 місяців тому

      If they are the flat metal clips you can go right over them but the larger clear plastic ones you can loosen one at a time and slip that one piece behind it then tighten it again before you move on to the next one. Just be sure not to over tighten the clip so you don’t crack the mirror. I have done this several times without issues.

    • @maureenvalley7722
      @maureenvalley7722 5 місяців тому

      @@tarynmarie34 That's what I was wondering. I wait for a super rainy day in the summer and first let the area rug soak up all that nice soft rainwater. Then I mix a little javex, warm water with my fav laundry detergent and I have a hard bristle broom that I clean my carpeted porch stairs with, and keep on sweeping the rug until clean, then if it doesn't continue raining, only then do I take the hose. I have been doing that for years and its works good. Then I get help and place the rug over the railing on my back deck. A day of very warm sunshine and the rugs is dry.
