Had the absolute pleasure of working with Chalky, what a man! Called him the 'Guru' , amazing mind, fantastic stories... what a life he lived i could have listened to him for days! he helped so many young people and was highly respected and well loved. R.i.p Chalky you'll be missed 😢

Im not a huge fan of the jam or weller like some people are ...but.....some of his songs are my fav songs..loved his 90s period ..he always looks the nuts ..great voice ..underated guitarist and piano player ..guy knows his stuff ..and gives his all...not many left now

I had the great privilege to have known Andrew personally, what a great man he was. Loved his sense of humour, his intelligence, honesty and humility! He taught me a lot, would have made a fantastic psychotherapist, had such a rich life fall of expirences, loved him and will miss him dearly! RIP my old freind ❤️

This is the best interview i have ever seen with PW. It was so obviously going to be good that i switched it off and waited until i could watch it entirely without distraction, and when i did it did not disappoint at all. This mans music and style have been a constant in my life since 1977.

This guy was oxygen to me as a teenager. He literally was a life line lyrically, musically and he was a genius in The Jam. He's amazing he really is. Don't dig his politics but strangely love his lyrics and often his music. Thank you Paul.

I was so lucky, my parents were original Mods and by the time I was in my teens I could fit into my old mans old suits and clobber, although I had to source my own US Army Fish-tail as he didn't have one! Would come home to Cornwall from visiting relatives in Surrey wearing gear like (my fave) sky blue StaPressed suit and bowling shoes etc... Status Quo gear (another great Surrey band btw) was De rigueur at the time... I got quite good at sticking up for myself 🙂
