Radiant Soul was always a bit of a joke to me. How many times in a typical campaign is a PC gonna get hit with radiant damage? And adding your Charisma mod to ONE instance of radiant damage, against ONE enemy, that's insulting. My suggestion would be to either remove the "against one creature" limitation, or adapt a mechanic from the Undead Warlock. Once per turn, you can turn one damage roll of yours into radiant damage, so that this can apply to any damaging spell attack, and to weapon attacks for Bladelocks.

That is a lot of new team members, wow! Weezing did a lot of work here. It's unfortunate about the last few turns, though. That was not what I was expecting. Also, as always, the graphics for team presentation and team management during the game are extremely good.

Thank you for your ranking! I made a mercy monk straight off of random rolls and flavor and it has quickly become one of my favorites because of the fun variety it can get! I'd love to have an ultimate hand of harm where if your grappling an enemy you could pump multiple hits of hands of harm into them depending on the success of the grapple and how many points you want to spend. I would even be okay if more than 5 points were spent, taking a point of exhaustion. It would be really nice to have a big hit option like the caster classes get at higher levels.

Could Sleet Storm be the kind of spell where it's fun fly/hover around? Because the flavor text describes that the ground is slick and slippery, but would this affect a flying creature. If it doesn't I wanna play this as a flying creature. I would be dipping rogue in order to get bonus action hide and try and get 10 ft of blindsight.

This is one of my favourite subclasses! I played a Pact of the Tome Fathomless for a oneshot and it was so fun, I really want to try it with Pact of the Blade using the 5e24 rules!

Mending has a 1 minute cast time, so not very useful at all in combat

Couple of ideas here 1) grab pact of the chain and gift of the ever living ones to get max healing on your bonus action 5d6 = 30 2) maximize the amount of resources you have..take a level in life cleric gives you 2 level 1 spell slots, medium armor, shield and 3 cantrips and the spells are good like bless, command, etc... 3) invocations matter. The eldritch blast ones are good, also mask and misty visions and eldritch mind 4) take feats like fey touched for 2 extra spells! Also tough and later resilient con

Nice! Interesting direction with MC for Rune Knight. Sounds super versatile. I was definitely expecting you to stack true strike with shileleigh and agonizing blast.

There are several interesting directions that we can go. Between dipping barbarian, blade pact or chain pact wift gift of the ever-living ones invocation, there are just so many different build options if you're creative enough.

It might not have worked out great, but I think it was still a fun match to watch. That turn one with Ambipom into Zapdos was pretty incredible, though. Ambipom feels like it doesn't get the respect that it deserves sometimes. Looking forward to the next match!

Since this warlock gets dominate person and scrappy naive kobolds are fun to use when you have some summons. We could easily make this a fun multiclass with order domain (also giving us heavy armor) or rune knight to stick around just a little longer (+ all their proficiencies if we start fighter) could be good. With warlock getting Danse Macabre and our draconic cry on top of Voice of Authority we can have some fun. We aren't even using our subclass specific features yet but blink is great for us if we want to semi-gish (we aren't mixing fighting with spells as well as a bladesinger) of course we'll also take the blade pact. I'm looking forward to trapping foes inside a plant growth/hunger of hadar combo.

Another great race option could be fairy with faerie fire enlarge reduce + the lore of them being very chaotic could work really well.

Personally, I would keep the flying being permanent at a higher level but having it show up earlier at a lower level at the cost of being temporary is something I can work with

Oh my god THANK YOU SO MUCH for this video. This turns the Arcana Cleric from a weird like, pseudo-studied in magic Cleric with some Wizard dipping at tier 4 and a weird aversion towards otherworldly beings, to an actual Wizard/Cleric Hybrid that fits perfect as say, a Cleric of Mystra or a student in Candlekeep under Ohgma. So excited to use this with my players.

Ya know as often as I see people mention making a key to get out of a jail with the forge ability, why not just make the cell bars into anything else? They are in fact metal. It doesn’t say it has to be metal that you own. It just has to have a value equal to what you make. You could also make the hinges on a door into anything of the same value too. So you could make caltrops out of those fairly easily.

I do like sacred flame for enemies with a high AC. As sometimes it is nicer to target a saving throw instead. Also sometimes it is nicer if something has vulnerability to radiant damage.

Variant Human and Custom lineage are great options. OMG NOT more sorcery points...LMAO. They are needed, having 2 more points are fantastic. I'm in a game where we are 5th level. I took 3 levels of Hexblade with 2 with Aberrant Sorcerer. I took no spells with concentration, they last like Armor of Agathys. Lots of damage. I like that Aberrant get free spells. You do know the Aberrant Sorcerer's are crazy right, they might not see EVIL as wrong...

Hey! Really liked your video! I can’t wait to see your builds when you start using the 2024 ruleset! I think the Fey Subclass is going to be a great subclass for martial/ Pact of the Bladelocks with its high mobility. I’m planning on starting a Crit build EBlastlock. Can't really infuse your guantlets with enhanced weapon though as they're not technically a simple or martial weapon. Maybe your DM will let you get away with this, maybe not, but would be good to suggest an alternative for those who won't be able to.

Excellent idea, one thing i noticed, Vine whip druid spell comes into play on druid level 1 to drag enemies into spirit guardians.

(Check with DM to see if this will work) There is a feat that could help a Rune Knight. The Rune Shaper feat that you gain with the Rune Carver background (or if you're a spellcaster) and lets you learn a number of runes equal to halve your PB rounded down and inscribe them onto objects (and gain some benefits) and I don't see anything stopping you from doubling up on benefits from both the feat and Rune Knight feature from each rune you inscribe, as long as the rune is on both lists (which there are 6 runes on both)

Archfey is a sneaky good subclass, especially as a main with a dip or dips into other classes. The lacklustre 10th and 14th lvl features aren’t really a big deal because a) campaign is done and dusted by then and b) the mechanics of the warlock class are optimised at lvl 9 (5th lvl spells) or maybe lvl 11 (3rd spell slot is nice but the temptation to go to lvl 12 for the ASI is classic sunk cost fallacy). One feature you glossed over is access to Plant Growth in the extended spell list at lvl 5. This spell is criminally underrated, especially for a caster with few spell slots, and well worth keeping at higher levels after you have the opportunity to swap it out for higher level spells. It doesn’t scale if upcast but it doesn’t need to. Plant Growth is actually a little overpowered and ranks with Revivify and Spirit Guardians as top shelf, 3rd lvl, party survivability options. If you’ve never seen Plant Growth wielded by a caster who knows what they’re doing you’re missing out. It’s that good.

That miss was so painful and it is understandably frustrating. I must say, that Clodsire put in so much work and I always forget that it can get Counter. Wishing the best for you in next week's game. May the luck at least be neutral because you rock the games when the dice rolls don't punch you.
