Hey! Really liked your video! I can’t wait to see your builds when you start using the 2024 ruleset! I think the Fey Subclass is going to be a great subclass for martial/ Pact of the Bladelocks with its high mobility. I’m planning on starting a Crit build EBlastlock. Not sure which of the new subclasses to choose! I can’t wait to see more Warlock builds popping up on UA-cam over the next year! Subbed! ♥️
With the new changes to armor of agathys (spell now works as long as you have any temp hp) and wildshape and polymorph being based on temp hp with druid providing medium armor choice. Moon druid/fiend warlock is going to be fun! Druid also gets plant growth that we can stack with Jalarzi's radiant storm for caster hell 😂 or druid conjure minor elemental with warlocks e attacks. 😋🙂
@@maegn It's the result for me of continueing the thought on alternatives to paladin/druid and their whole eagle or bear smites. Now with the new rules divine smiting in wildshape might not be possible, but eldritch smite can still work! (I love multiclassing 😁😆😆😆😁😅) Previously making wildshape work with weapons (like for sneak attack {soul knife works best}) was best done with ape CR 1/2 since have hands to hold weapons like scimitars. But the new rules (should) have made the creature choice easier.
Since this warlock gets dominate person and scrappy naive kobolds are fun to use when you have some summons. We could easily make this a fun multiclass with order domain (also giving us heavy armor) or rune knight to stick around just a little longer (+ all their proficiencies if we start fighter) could be good. With warlock getting Danse Macabre and our draconic cry on top of Voice of Authority we can have some fun. We aren't even using our subclass specific features yet but blink is great for us if we want to semi-gish (we aren't mixing fighting with spells as well as a bladesinger) of course we'll also take the blade pact. I'm looking forward to trapping foes inside a plant growth/hunger of hadar combo.
I found your chanel whilst researching ancients paladin, thanks.
Welp another one to add to the playlist i guess great vid
