First I want to thank Jennifer Johnson for her comments, and I also want to thank my wife for her direct unpublished comment to me, both of them correcting me on erroneous information I presented. This video, was a response to a videotaped discourse between Vince Gil and the Westboro church, that was just sent to me recently, and I was of the understanding that this was a recent event, and that the recording was taped at an Amy Grant concert because the video was sent to me just after Amy Grant's recent comments about how God views people both "gay" and "straight". Jennifer corrected me and stated that this discourse occurred at a Vince Gil concert, not an Amy Grant concert, and my wife corrected me and pointed out that the video discourse dates back to 2013. In any event I apologize for any inaccurate information regarding the date and the venue. However, the error in date and venue doesn't change the recorded statements made by both Vince Gil or the Westboro Baptist Church. Both parties, who are publicly professing Christians, did not adequately present the gospel. Their statements had me question if either party really fully understood the full context of what the gospel conveys and the atoning work of Christ, and it is out of my love and concern for both parties, Vince Gil and Westboro church that I raise these questions. It is my responsibility as a believer in Christ to edify my brethren so that they may grow in the full knowledge of Christ and to encourage them to remain in the faith and properly present Christ to others.
