GM14a God's Will Over Man's Sinful Will

After Christ has established His identity as Messiah, and clearly from scripture refuted the Jewish leaders challenging His authority, these same leaders now plan to execute Him. They plot this in secret, fearing the people and their response, which only proves that they knew the truth about Christ, because if Christ was a false prophet, they would be able to openly seek His execution. However, their deceitful plotting was still subject to the sovereign will of God, who sent His Son into this world to save us from sin and death.
