GM13e Christ and the End Times Pt 5

Jesus, declaring and defending the truth of His word, and the reality of God's coming judgment, uses a fig tree again, as an illustration to explain to His disciples that the signs of God's judgment will be evident to them. As with sprouting leaves on a fig tree pronounce to us the coming of warmer weather, the signs of false teachers, wars and calamities, will be a warning sign of God's judgment to fall upon people. Christ is emphasizing to His disciples that His word is true, and they need to take heed to it.
