Hey this is a great video. Even after months of speed running I never cleared this cuz I was so drained every time I got to sephi I got chained. I’ll probably steal this and show it off at speed running events, ofc I’ll do my best to credit your work it’s kino.

Just finished beating this sh!t due to this guide. I sucked at remembering to pause against Gilgamesh and virtual sephiroth but still managed to beat it with this setup. Went into the last battle with 1/3 of my mp gone and all 3 team members got octaslash numerous times but since i had barrier and regen i survived. Once his hp was half way gone my 700 hours of play took over ha. Thanks dude! You the man!

How do you avoid getting knocked out of casting, like at 3:08? I know that Radiant Ward prevents damage and flinching when casting, but I thought that attacks that knock you off your feet would still interrupt you (though I might be misremembering which attacks actually do that). Also, why does Sonic Boom take only a sliver of ATB?

Beat the fight today, thanks to you. The slow motion helped me fluke my way through. Insane how easy phase 2 is simply because that move is essentially gone. Never EVER doing it again. Ended up using Cloud, Tifa and Aerith. I cant help myself. Using Cloud and Tifas synergy for unlimited mp, and then casting reraise on everyone for free saved me so many times against junk like Bahamut, Odin and Gilgamesh on the way to Sephiroth.

Damn….. Could you imagine using Stop, Sonic Boom, Darkside, and Plasma Discharge before going to town with that Unfettered Fury….. That would’ve depleted Odin to mush!
