Why Embracing Emotions Can Improve Your Communication
As a heart-centered individual, I embrace my emotions in every interaction. I would be lying to myself and others if I claimed, "I will not have an emotion about this." It's about empathy: "Okay, I have an emotion about this. The other person may not. What are they looking for? What do they need?" By asking these questions and establishing that space, you're creating psychological safety. We all need to be heard.
In this short video, I share how embracing empathy and understanding others' needs can transform your communication and build stronger connections.

As a 19-year old young man, I can totally relate to the struggle of reconciling our “nice” nature with the ruggedness and assertiveness a man needs to survive in this world. I also kicked against the limitations enneagram 2 seemed to put on me, but upon noticing that some of my fictional heroes were type 2s…I got hope.
