Incline Bench Press 235 pounds 3x10
Переглядів 1639 годин тому
Saturday... Incline Bench Press 235 pounds for a good basic 3x10 this afternoon to get the high reps in on the exercise. Felt pretty good and was overdue to work this rep range for multiple sets. This was at the YMCA for a change of pace. The Incline here is pretty comfortable with a good seat that made me feel like I was locked in and wouldn't slide down drastically.

Deadlift 635 pounds for a 2 rep stiff bar max! Used belt, chalk, dead stop reps, and hook grip. Not sure why but mix grip wasn't feeling right

Deadlift 600 pounds for 6 reps yesterday. Belt, deadlift bar, mix grip, chalk, dead stop reps. So most reps I've ever done with 600 pounds. My left contact fell out before getting to the gym so my vision was already fuzzy before having to do this. Bodyweight 217.

Dumbbell Bench Press 128.75 pounds (each) 3x10 yesterday! For some reason my strength here improves but not on actual Bench Press. Hopefully next year we can make the 130s the default weight to use and maintain that strength forever.

Переглядів 17314 днів тому
Last Friday 5AM Deadlift session. New 10 rep stiff bar max of 555 pounds at 216 bodyweight. Mix grip, chalk, belt, dead stop reps using the power power. So currently a thirty pound gap between this and a Deadlift bar. Still I'll take it. Did 555 a month ago but didn't count because of some awful hitching on the last couple reps. Deadlift 135x10 325x5 515x3 555x10 405x10 425x10 415x10 After the ...

Nothing beats a good Deadlift session. All time 5 rep max of 615 pounds this morning. Belt, mix grip, chalk, dead stop reps, and deadlift bar. Figured my stiff bar went up ok Friday so had to test it with a deadlift bar today. After did 635 for 2.

John 3:16 (just spread gospel)
no you're spreading the words of humans, i care about my fellow man and don't want them to get caught believing what humans tell them their entire lives and let their actions be controlled in order to appease what humans tell them is real, the only correct answer is that humans have no answer, any human who says they know anything about god is lying to your face, i hate to break it to you
Different grip could cause muscle imbalance
Reverse grip is pretty typical for deadlifts, it allows you to have a stronger grip over the bar
@@doubletrouble4766 it's called mixed grip, and yes it's typical but does that magically negate what he said? even larry wheels said that when he did mixed grip, the trap that was on the pronated arm, so his right trap, would be noticeably bigger than the left one, because the pronated grip on deadlift will activate traps for example more than supinated will, and for giving you a stronger grip, yes you're right but why would you hinder yourself for a stronger grip instead of just getting a stronger grip? double overhand is objectively the best, end of story
unreal my man :D

I have trouble pulling slack out of the bar quick enough. Any tips? Impressive pulls btw !
I have to ask though. We both have very similar deadlift forms. However, my lower back always seems to take a bit more stress than my glutes/hamstrings. Do you feel any unique stiffness or pain in your lower back after deadlifting?
Very impressive man!

Being a nosey unwarranted critic at its finest. Punk.
55lbs is light, for anything as long as you're consistent long enough.
Man, I know jow this grind is, I love me some dumbells, too. You are great, inspirational to me even. Keep it up.
Thanks for the compliment!

impressive
Hey boss, saw a video by Mike from RP talking about taking a month off for huge recovery deeper than just the muscles. Wondered what your thought on it is because your consistently making progress for a long time. Have you ever taken a large break or just the occasional deload here and there?
Be careful it can rip arm
real gutsy

Strong work man with extra weight
Thank you 👍
What is the point in lifting these crazy weights. At some point the spine must snap ,and spend the rest of your life in a wheel chair . Crazy. I have worked out with weights since 1963 .Still working out ,and still fit at age 83. I am pretty sure if i had been lifting really heavy weights in all those years i would not be as fit as i am now.Still riding a 700 lbs motorcycle.
