Milo...a surprisingly fun video. Well done.
Aww shucks, so glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment 😁
Only thing, I would have wanted more, is a recomandation - maybe even a link to yet another video of yours (You are awesome!) to a thermos recommendation :D Thats what I really need, i have a 1 hour drive for work and the cup I love and use is not produced anymore (buhuuu) - now im gonna go look what else you have got on your channel, just because i love the vibe and humor :)
I’ll note your ask! I would love to do some more thermos videos. Insulated cups and glasses play such an important role in my of our day to day lives and they end up becoming very near to our hearts as objects. I hope that you’re able to find a replacement for your daily thermos that you use that was retired. Sending you all the good product finding vibes ✨✨✨
Never been to this channel before, but thoughd i'd let you know, you are so lovely that I liked and subscribed before 30 sec. in - i just know, this is a channel for me !!! Thank you for beeing here <3 AMAZING

Thank YOU for your kind comment!
Wow! Your opening thoughts were exactly my thoughts too. You hit the nail on the head. What was wrong with me for wanting a quality smallish backpack.
It’s nice to not feel alone in this! 🙌💪
What size can you recommend?
This is the large and it’s been great so far!
Thanks, I think you pushed me over the edge on this purchase.
Enjoy! I’m cheers-ing you from MN!
Oh my word, these are gorgeous. What are the odds that I've been looking for a good pair of EDC chopsticks and just happen to stumble upon your channel while looking for something else? I have to get these. 😍
Yay! I’m so happy! I hope that you enjoy them 🥰
Making a cardboard cutout to pre-test the dimensions of a knife is genius. Thank you for that tip! That is actually the first Benchmade I've seen that I'd consider purchasing. It's really pretty and the sheath is pretty too. EDIT: Have you tried the Swisstech Leicht or the Kershaw Steppe?
That Benchmade is truly gorgeous. Highly recommend now that they make a better sheath for it. And no! I hadn’t heard of the Swisstech Leicht and wow is it affordable which I wasn’t expecting based on my quick glance at it. It looks rather premium. I’m excited to look a bit more in depth later. Might need to add another to the collection 🤦
@@milotash If you do end up picking one up, lemme know how you like it! ^-^ If you did a video on it, I'd definitely watch it! :D

Not stupid! I use them for travel (small size) or put all my girly stuff in them. So organized!
Love that! Such a good product! Thanks for sharing ☺️
This video looks like from 20 years ago (DONT GET ME WRONG) , I mean in sincere showing your case and your points . Without any external impact (Hey, they sponsored this vid but am telling you the truth) 😂 Like this sincere clip. We missed it a lot lately
Thank you Hussam. That’s the goal of this channel! It feels like a lot of content out there is sponsored these days. Don’t get me wrong, I do sponsored content sometimes as well, but the main purpose here is just to share cool gear that actually works without bias. Glad you enjoyed!
@@milotash I wish you the best, you don’t know how much that video made my day and seeing you sincere. Yeah , I don’t have issues with sponsorship, i meant we reach a point us costumers, getting lied to a lot unfortunately. But others still maintain credibility. Anyhow, I wish you and your channel the best from Saudi Arabia
Oh thank god another queer edc person Good luck with designs! 🏳️⚧️
Cheers friend! 🏳️🌈
@@milotash what kinds of designs will you do?
I actually wouldn't mind the 6-spice container that sells pretty much everywhere for $5-$10, depending on how poor of a shopper you are. I'd be okay with the size because I took my father's out for a test drive on my last trip to the Rockies, and it's nice to be able to handle your shaker like a shaker. But it apparently cannot be refilled. I saw a video of someone refilling one, and you basically have to run a screwdriver around the inside of the cap to pry it off. That's not going to work too many times before the lid becomes loose, spices start creeping out of the top and you have to trash the thing, but maybe the limited number of times you'll have to actually do this makes it worth it. But I'm ALSO someone who, when thinking about it, doesn't need 6 spices. I would probably just go with seasoned salt and pepper, but I'd like to add a couple. One should probably should be regular salt, but I mostly rehydrate and there aren't many meals I eat when camping/hiking that will be ruined by my salt having garlic powder, onion powder, etc., in it. Unless there's something I'm just not thinking of, if I get another 2-spice container I might just make one spice an additional seasoned salt and the fourth BRAGG Organic Sprinkle 24 Herbs & Spices or a Mrs. Dash option for a no-salt alternative. If you haven't tried BRAGG (they make that apple cider vinegar you see all over), where original Mrs. Dash tends to smell like chicken noodle soup spices, BRAGG smells like Thanksgiving stuffing spices. OR, I can always use Lemon Pepper (seriously, it's making a comeback) in one slot, although that's more of something you use when cooking, rather than to season with AFTER cooking. I currently have a two-spice shaker that I love (Coghlans camper salt & pepper shaker) that is no longer available. It's got much better volume than those tiny little red-capped jobbies they currently make and the lids have a nice snap to them. Plus they measure only 2.5" h x 1.5" w. I'd just get a second one if I could do it for less than the $10-$15 it's now going for on eBay (for a $1.99, small plastic tower). The multi-shakers on Amazon tend to be about 3-4" tall. Even the 6-spice jobbie is generally smaller than that. The MSR ones look to be about 3.5"-4" long and cost $9 apiece. Given how much I like the one i have, that product just seems like a bit much in multiple ways. It IS a little amazing that there aren't as many options on Amazon as a person might think. I may have to check AliExpress. I'm sure there's a knock-off or two there that might be of interest. :) Take care.
Good thoughts! I just continue to be fascinated by how folks feel so differently on such a seemingly simple object. Some people are fine with their cardboard salt and pepper shakers, others in a zip lock bag, and some in little plastic contraptions. Interesting to see the diversity in opinions! Happy trails!
Glad to see more women covering camping and edc gear ❤
We definitely dig women on this channel!
The lid is very annoying. I think you should do a test with the lids on and check the temperature then
Yeah the lids would for sure increase the temperature settings but agreed, I’m not a big lid fan.
Thanks for the great review, I'm looking for a 15ish sling that meets almost your exact criteria so this was a near home run for me personally
Hey, so glad you liked the video! I hope you find the bag of your dreams!
I liked this video Milo which was short, straight forward and obvious also your sound is great for review.
Aww shucks, this is the most lovely comment. Thank you for taking the time to share this with me ☺️
Just used your code to get 15% off thank you
🤘 rock on! Enjoy!
Love the direct, authentic review w no cheesy sales pitch. Thx!!
Oh yeah, no BS here. Thanks for your kind comment ☺️
Really you think someone watching this video doesn’t know what fixed blade is?
🤷 can’t say for sure, but my analytics show that my audience can come from age groups and demographics that don’t trend in typical knife user categories. I’d like to think that I can help open the door to knifes for folks who aren’t as familiar.
Some people don't know knife terminology or the particular application of different styles and that's okay. Everybody starts their journey somewhere, and it's important we be welcoming.
Thank you. This was very helpful. Have a great day!
Thank you for your lovely comment and I hope that you have a great day as well!
I saw this video in my feed and now I’m deep in the Snow Peak rabbit hole. Also, I subscribed because I like your collection of videos.
lol welcome to the rabbit hole. I hope you enjoy and thank you for your subscription! 😀
This is literally the kind of video I’ve been looking for! And a cute doggie for size reference, thank you for the review!
And thank you for such a kind comment! So glad you enjoyed the video!
Stanley titanium cup. Very similar except vacuum insulated.
Oh dang, might have to snag one to test when they’re back in stock.
@milotash they quit making them because they were too expensive to manufacture. One cup cost 110 dollars. The general market wasn't willing to pay that. Too niche. However, scour ebay and you can find them everyonce in a while. I just bought one for 35 dollars on ebay. 4 oz for vacuum insulated cup. Almost certain it was the world's lightest vacuum insulated cup while it was made.
Thanks
You’re welcome!
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!! Why throughout all of my searches did this bag never come up?? It’s perfect (for me). For some background I have a Tasmanian Tiger Medical Assault backpack I use at work for my rapid response trauma kit. I’ve always loved the size however it’s obviously a very specialized bag and would be horrible daily use backpack (look it up). This backpack is basically a EDC version of that bag. Again I say THANK YOU!! 😂😂
I’m so glad you found the review!! And I hope that you find your new bag perfect for your needs. ☺️
Have no idea how you are not more popular, by far some of the best content around. Great watch!
Aww shucks, you’re way too kind. Thank you for your lovely words and I’m so glad you enjoyed the video! 🤘
Great review thanks
Hey, thank you so much! So glad you enjoy!
Based on your review, I just decided to buy this mug, and then some: I splurged and bought a lightly used whole set (H450, H300, H200) in the blue color on eBay.
Heck yeah, Nathan! I hope you dig your new set and that it joins you on many epic journeys (or just everyday life) 😊
Thank you for your video. Chopsticks 筷子 are good for eating Dim Sum, Sushi, Chow Mein or Ramen noodles. On the other hand, for eating peas or mashed potatoes, using a Spork, Fork or Spoon is a better choice than Chopsticks.
There’s a good tool for every activity! Thanks for sharing Jadenephrite!
I have a mini fork & mini spoon in my canteen cup cook set, they fit right in there. A spork is no good for spaghetti. Thanks for sharing 👍
Heck yes, love that! Thank you also for sharing!
I've watched a few of your videos and really appreciate the attention to detail in the reviews you do. Thanks!
Thanks for your kind comment! I’m so glad you’ve enjoyed the videos ☺️
Hmm...was hoping for idea of how foon in the left hand works in combination with a knife in the right, but then Americans don't know how to do that 😜. I want to eliminate a traditional fork (and spoon), while still being able to attack a steak with etiquette.
I feel that vibe Corneuys. I always want to attack a steak with etiquette. Thanks for sharing 🥩
Great review!!
Thank you for the lovely comment! ☺️
@@milotash I was debating getting this MSR shaker for awhile now and have the GSI Missile but have a few issues with it. My mind is made up now, getting the MSR.
This was a really great review for SnowPeak Chopsticks 🥢 what I found helpful with this video was being able to actually put the wooden part of the chopstick inside the silver SnowPeak case for storage purposes! In addition, the pouch that it comes with is an excellent touch for the overall product! I already purchased these and are looking forward to using them.
Thank you for your lovely words. I’m excited for when these arrive for you! ☺️
@@milotash You’re welcome my Snow Peak chopsticks actually came in the mail today! That tip really came in handy because tightening the screw on the front of the chopstick keeps it keep it from moving around in the case itself! I even shook it in the case, and it wasn’t any sound of movement, but between eating foods like spaghetti, sushi, ramen and Chinese food in general the chopsticks will really come in handy!
bought this bag because of you. I'm the same; I already have a small pack but I want to upgrade to a bigger one and 15L is the sweet spot. Just ordered and I'm excited to try it out!
I’m so stoked for you! I hope you’ve found “the one”!
Just popping into the comments section to let everyone know this bag is available on a deep discount for 36USD right now, and it looks to be on its way out of Chrome's lineup!
Get it while it’s hot folks! Thanks Mike!
the bellroy backpack IS too ninja turtley!!! you get it. thanks for the excellent review & high fives from a fellow minnesotan
🙌
Great video, love the cheeky 'oops, not cooked, lets just put that back together for now' though haha
🙃
Self defense tip (go learn jiu jitsu at an mma gym) you can tie a short paracord to the handle to increase the grip and deepen the index notch with a grinder so that if you have to stab your hand won’t get cut!
Watch out folks, sounds like this little knife can be upgraded to quite then formidable blade! Thanks for sharing kicksnarehat!
@@milotash the honor is mine :) this little blade is actually a very special piece, in terms of self defense. Many people want a bigger blade for the fear factor, and perceived lethality however, the bigger the knife the less you carry it, and the easier it is to use (mainly handle size) the smaller the barrier of entry to effectively use it, which is not a good thing when the attacker picks it up after you got tackled. Train with hard to use tools that have the greatest chance of being with you. After all on this journey of making weapons moot, there’s some pvp. <3 also perfect hiking companion for slicing apples and spreading peanut butter hehehe 🤭
Terrific. I loved riding this trail when I was a student at the U. Thanks for posting this video. I look forward to riding to Stillwater again someday.
Hey, so glad you enjoyed! It’s a lovely ride! Hope you get to do it again soon.
I just bought snow peak fork and spoon set online. I have a question: is it normal to see the spoon or fork to be all scratchy when you first bought it? Mine looks very scratchy on the surface as if like someone has been using it for a while…
Hm, I believe mine did have a matte finish when it arrived. Might be due to the polishing process? But if you have distinct stretches that seems odd…
@@milotash Heyy thanks for replying :) I contacted the shop, and they offered me an exchange which I gladly accepted. The new set looks better than the first one. And great video btw. I love your way of explaining!
Been looking at all those very same 12-15L bags for days. Chrome should have made the front pocket side entry. Bellroy should have used orange liner ... Yeah, the Mystery Ranch one, but what can you do with one row of daisy chain--on the side?
Terrienoll, you are feeling allllll the backpack hunting pains right now. Amazing how it truly is a backpack black hole. I wish you luck and hope that you end up finding the perfect EDC carry for all your needs.
@@milotash Bought the Chrome and the Bellroy to try on. Chrome on sale for $53! Aer City is too heavy, but lots of pockets …
Thank you for your video. Regarding the tines on the Foon and the Spork, the tips of the tines are blunt to avoid injury from accidental poking of the mouth while eating. The straight arrangement of the four tines on the Foon means that there is an even distribution of the poking pressure at their tips. On the other hand, the Spork has two central tines that project further out than its other two tines towards the periphery. This uneven arrangement of the Spork’s tines means that the two central projecting tines exert more poking pressure than its two other tines towards the periphery.
Hey, thanks so much for your pro thoughts here! Great for others who are reading the comments as well and want a little more info for the “why” behind the design. Thanks for sharing!
Super useful review. Do you think the laptop compartment can hold a 14 inch laptop? This exact bag is on sale right now for a little over $50 right now.
I think you’d have success with the 14 in-er! Sweet that this is on sale - that’s a steal!
Lovely content mate :) Definitely on the up!!!
Thank you for the lovely comment. So glad you enjoy ☺️
