I didn't see until after making the video that the paracord arm band has a gosh darn ferro rod built into the clip and THAT is what the metal reflective piece is for! If you all spy other things that I missed, drop a comment so I don't feel so darn foolish by missing key uses for these things!

Gah! Stupid algorithm buried your latest videos from my feed! Bad YT bot!
It’s easy to dismiss all the cheap items in these kits. But for the price, in a real emergency, any version of what you need is going to be welcome. Perfect for stuffing under a car seat, in the back of the camping kit or an extra bug out bag. Love it.
This kind of stuff always makes me wonder about some person in a far off land sitting in front of a CAD, just cranking these things out. Bravo mystery designers!

Couldn’t have said it better myself.
Also, 100%. Just *clackity clacking* away at the computer, dreaming big dreams and making them happen. Gotta appreciate the energy spent there.

on your multipurpose pocket tool is a compass if lay down on floating surface. the small natch will be your north direction.also by placing a small peace of cord in the middle so that it will lay flat. this will be your last resort compass it will get you near that direction in a pinch. and i really like your videos keep them coming

What a phenomenal kit! I can see you'd have a lot of fun building your own log cabin using just the tools provided. Afraid you misidentified the thing at 5:30, which is clearly a magic wand. Lumos!

The tools seem a little cheaply made. I would definitely trade them out for quality tools. I would add a Surefire light, Gerber Auto 06 folding knife and a Leatherman Surge. Maybe an ESSEE fixed blade. I believe a med kit should be a standalone kit. Not part of another kit.

Oh for sure Johnny, I couldn’t agree more. It was more so the fun of opening a ready made kit that was gifted. Kinda neat to see what’s all in one and to see what someone would get if they purchased this without any other gear. Sneak peak, I’ll be chatting about my ESEE Izula in an upcoming video - a favorite mini fixie for sure ☺️

The foil blanket reflects heat back into you but should be used with something else like a liner.

Right on! Might need to see how well that does sometime. It packs down very small so could be fun to test for the heck of it!

Just another know-it-all, here. The multitool hammer-hatchet-pliers has a serrated knife and saw, as opposed to having 2 different saws.
Regardless, I love your videos! Keep ‘em coming!

The blue rubber strips that you called it is a tourniquet to place an IV or draw blood

All the knowledge gained here, thank you John! Now I just need to know what to do with that should the situation ever call for it. Might need to load up some videos from @GrayBeardedGreenBeret and learn some field medic concepts

(I go on vacay for a few days w/no net, and a new vid awaits!) That case alone, with all the straps and buckles, is worth it. And a sporknife?! You have some thoughtful friends 👍🏻
