    The company has not paid my salary for the past three months and has not deposited my PF contributions for the past year due to financial losses. Can I terminate the bond agreement because of this? And also company took 10 lakhs undated cheques from me, and they are not giving my bond copy and cheques and also they are not allowed take the photo of the bond and cheques 😢

    Honest question. Why is it that notice periods in the West are 3 weeks while in India the companies FORCE the employees/slaves to work for 3 months after they put down the papers? Seems like the management gets some sort of perverse joy in seeing their former employee suffer. Your original and unbiased thoughts would be highly appreciated.

    Hi mam, I have resigned from MNC in this month as buy out. But for the settlement they mentioned 85k. It is nearly half of annual salary. Is there any way to reduce the amount and what will happen if Im not paying that amount , does it affect getting into the job an another company or govt jobs

    Hi M’am u have explained quite clearly , I work as a teacher and have got a new job in another education organisation, my previous organisation where I was working had one month notice period..I had put my resignation in vacation in 2nd week of May and had asked for a release date in 2nd week of June considering one month notice, they said it has to b working notice which is entire month of June, I said I cannot wait the entire month and buy out what is not served by me, the Organisation has withheld my May salary too and also asking me to work entire June even if I have given option of buyout ..suggest me what to be done, what if I don’t go to work ahead since my May salary is on hold, whatever days I have completed in the month of June is with the old organisation since I’m more focused on working in the new organisation

    Hi Mam, I am facing notive period issue . My company has 3 months notice period.but i am not able to serve more than 45 days as my family stay in north and i am currently staying on south of India. There are some medical issues bcz of that i want to leave early .but my manager they are not approving besides i gave pay out option of my notice. In my contract its mention "Subject to the remainder of this clause, your employment may be terminated by either party by giving notice as set out in the Heads of Terms, or payment in lieu of that notice."       The probation usually can’t be extended for more than 3 months. What are the reasons for Salary reduction? Are they doing a periodic review of your probation? They need to explain why your probation is extended.

    I am about to join a new company but just the night before they told me that during my probation period which would be of 1 week, they will not pay my salary for that period and I have to come, attend and perform in the office on my own expense. Salary calculation will start from the day after 1 week when my probation ends. Should I join this company?? My gut instinct says that this is very wrong to do with any employee even if they are on probation period. Maybe the company can decide to pay a little less than the actual salary for the perobation period But to not to pay anything for that whole one week is immoral and unfair and plain injustice.     I completely agree, understand and respect what one of you have discussed. I am undergoing exactly the same problem. They don't want to train you. This is particularly the *Major complicated problem * Any new organization for that matter new industry is expected to train the new hire But they don't do the needful and keep unrealistic and unreasonable expectations which when not met makes the employer and management lay the blame on the employee and makes them part ways

    Hi, my probation period extended for 1 month. I have left 13 days to end my probation period still I don't see any positive feedback from my manger. In this case after my probation will they kick me out immediately??     Sir, My name is Krishnadas Thettath Prabhakaran. I submitted my resignation on 22/01/2024 at Lulu Hypermarket in Abu Dhabi. I have not received any information regarding my settlement, despite requesting to be relieved before 22/02/2024. My visa expired on 14/02/2024, and I am concerned about potential fines. I visited the shop to inquire about my settlement, but there have been no updates provided. I would like to know the process for filing a complaint with the UAE Labor department.     Hi Nancy - My offer letter says the following - You may resign from your employment by providing Three months’ prior written notice to the Company or by giving equivalent salary (basic salary) in lieu of such unserved notice period. The Company reserves the right to recover salary in lieu of any unserved notice period. For avoidance of doubt, kindly note that the notice period cannot be set off against any unavailed or balance leave that is in your credit at the time of resignation. Despite of this statement having mentioned, the HR says that the buyout policy can't be used. What are implications to this statement and how can I proceed ahead with this?
