I’m not sure if you realise that painters tape won’t last and the painting will eventually fall off. Also many backing boards and tapes are not acid free and so can affect the paper down the track. I would recommend you but acid free tape and use backing boards that are archival when selling work. Your work here is beautiful. Also sealing off the back helps keep dust and insects out.

Great video, thank you for sharing! Your test pieces turned out very pretty! I miss using oil and cold wax. I love the creaminess of the oil/cwm vs the water-based/acrylic. But I had to stop because of the fumes from the solvent in the oil based cwm. I often thought of trying the Zest It to see if the fumes were less than Gamblin. Anyway, I am grateful for your videos on acrylics and water-based cwm and plan on signing up for your new class. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!

Great video and techniques! How would you protect the finished artwork with a UVLS varnish, especially if using collage paper or simply wanted a gloss protection over the piece? I'm not sure a varnish spray would react well with the cold wax. I hope you might know :)

Thanks for the video. It was very intersting since I have thoght my self to use this medium. whe apainting is done and dryes for several days it comes with a rough surface which I thought to apply a coating glazure. What should be used as materials or other proposed technic?

Thank you for your informative video. I am an artist, living in my van and I really want to do more acrylic painting but no room to store a lot of canvases. I’m now excited to have this information because I can paint on paper and know that I have an option to frame my art like I do watercolor. Where do you order your wax and rust powder from. I would love to see more with the rust. I use a lot of metallic powders, but sometimes they are too shiny. '' I would also love to see your technique for using the powder. Thank you
