Wow what a great bunch of teaching! You are amazing and I thank you so much for the inspiration. I really need to learn to use fine lines in my work. Now I will play with these ways. ❤

I have just completed your colour mixing course, I thoroughly enjoyed it and learnt so much from it, I'm looking forward to now putting all I have learnt into practise. You explained everything so well. Thank you

Thank you, I'm excited to try these techniques out! I especially liked the indirect and the tape.

Love the indirect lines too, so much more subtle than direct lines!

Thank you for sharing! You must have a million ways to make marks! By the way, my girl with the umbrella sold! Why is it that paintings I don't like will flip someone's heart?

Congratulations on the sale of your painting! I know what you mean, I sometimes wanted to cover a painting up too and then it sold before I did that! Happy painting!

I took your class on abstract flowers and have fallen in love with this medium. Looking forward to more classes.

@Marina Did I miss your telling us how long it takes for the cold wax to dry? I just tried this weekend and we are in winter season here normally it is very humid but, mine took about 3-4 days and it was a relatively thin layer. Is that average for the dry time?

The question about the drying time is my most asked question and difficult to answer! It all depends on the thickness of the layers, humidity of the environment, the quality of the paint, even one colour can take longer to dry than another. Mine is usually dry to the touch after 1 or two days. It can takes months for the painting to dry completely, like a traditional oil painting. You can add solvent free gel or marble dust to your cold wax/oil mix to speed up the drying time a bit or put your painting in front of a fan. Hope this helps!

Are all of these markers lightfast?

I must admit that I am not sure, but since they are used by a lot of artists, I assume they are!

It is on canvas board (carton toilé), which works fine as long it is good quality and not too big, if not it might warp
