I keep coming back to these because they're such fun - I love the gentle ribbing. In Galaxy 4 where it's explained the beautiful blonde Drahvins, with the exception of Maaga, are clones that are 'specifically bred for war and unable to think for themselves' has me musing. At the risk of offending anyone, I'd like to have a small army like that under my command. Now, dare I click 'comment?' Oh, go on.
Please, keep this going! These recaps are amazing and I know the research and work behind them is hard but it's so much worth it!
I dont get what this is trying to do... tell the story in a blue peter voice? We know all this!
Who’s “we”? Just because you’ve seen, read and listened to everything. Doesn’t mean it’s the same for everyone. Have you forgot the show isn’t widely accessible and individual episodes or whole serials have gone missing? Also, it would take forever for someone to catch up so these videos help new viewers who don’t know the history and might be put off upon seeing tons of episodes and series or peak their interest in starting.
Awesome job on these videos
I absolutely love these videos. I read an online forum that was super helpful but hearing it and seeing the clips is lovely. And I love your quips 😂 thank you for all you do good sir 😆
@@samanthageesaman5125 Thanks for the kind words. You're welcome.
bro i like this, also i have a question im dying for an answer, how did you get footage/audio of episodes that are lost?
@@TheRedBaron-zp1yz the main source is a DVD set called "Lost in Time" that includes some surviving clips of missing episodes. You can also find clips on some of the other Doctor Who DVD's. A company called Loose Cannon also make reconstructions using stills and surviving footage so they are a good source of material. Sadly, I don't have special access to any missing episodes.
I can’t imagine ever wanting to leave the doctor
What have I learned? When in doubt, blame the daleks
You sure you're not related to the guy who voiced "How its made"?
I've just checked out "How it's Made" on UA-cam and I can see why you would think that! (as far as I know, we're not related though)
8:43 The moon is an egg. It is known
Wendy Padbury!!! Just Wow!
I knew I wasn’t the only one who thought the Nesteen conscience looked like an asshole
“It’s always England…”,yes Jamie,I’ve noticed that too,and honestly…it’s ain’t bad
That feast of Steven Line hits way harder when you consider some of the ACTUAL things that happened on film sets in the 20’s
Pleaseee never stop making these 😁
44:35 - Interesting prop spot.... The main control console for the 'B.O.S.S' computer, was designed and manufactured by the same hardware contractors that outfitted the S.H.A.D.O 'Moonbase' [ usually populated by curvy, silver mini-skirted, purple haired, female S.H.A.D.O officers....]. Now given that ; // Season 10 of Doctor Who ran from 30 December 1972 to 23 June 1973. It starred Jon Pertwee as the Third Doctor and Katy Manning as Jo Grant. The season opened with The Three Doctors and concluded with The Green Death.// .... As we've just watched.... And remembering that Dr Who is a BBC production.... Showing just how skint the Dr Who budget was, as here they must have raided the skips of MGM Studios Borehamwood where the ITV-Gerry Anderson production - 'U F O' was filmed two years earlier. Either that or; UFO was actually the final film production to occur at Borehamwood in 70/71, so on closing down the latter, the props might have been auctioned-off, being eagerly snapped-up by desperate, yet imaginative BBC property buyers. //.... Okay - Lot number 18615 - An excellent example of a mid twenty-first century Lunar administration furniture.... Still equipped with internal circuitry, control switches and communication microphone spurs..... Ex ministry procurement certified. One careful owner.... Bidding starts at ten schillings..... // So good to see early examples of 'Repurposing' in the entertainment industry. Or between generic universes....
A who le new way of appreciating the Who-ni-verse.... Dr Who for MATURE Who fans.... With a touch of wit and irony. Keep em coming Brigadier !
Presumably in separate beds.... Doubtful given it's Peter Pervy...
What's pervy about sharing a bed with an attractive lady?
A great season - one of the best. All the stories are fun, bookended by two all-time classics! I love 'Claws of Axos' as well...and 'Mind of Evil'... You know what? This is my 4th favourite season overall - only behind; 7, 13 and 14(just)😀
I’m so happy for this series. Keep up the great work !
These videos are amazing. Excellent voice over, surprised you don't have more subs.
2:44 Barbara handles some mess nuts what the hell are my listening to
HOW IN GOD'S NAME DO YOU ONLY HAVE 2K SUBSCRIBERS??
Maybe it's because I don't say "don't forget to like and subscribe!" at the start and end of all my videos?
@@doctorohosadventures3476 lol, maybe it Does help 😅
So, I have been going through as many Doctor Who episodes as I can find from the very beginning, and when episodes are unavailable, I come here to to fill in the gaps, and then also to get a nice recap and a few chuckles along the way. Thank you so much!
So, we're sure the War Chief wasn't The Master, right? Because he sure fits the bill.
The War Games was written by Terrance Dicks who then became the Script Editor for the Pertwee era, so he was responsbile for creating both The War Chief and The Master. Even if the War Chief isn't the Master, it's likely one heavily inspired the other.
Love these!
Is it just me or dose Brett look like the brigerdear
It's the same actor. Well spotted!
Ian Mr steal your girl
Love you for making these summaries (I'm new to dr who, so this series is really helpful ty) ❤️
I loved Three's era! I loved his flamboyant style, the lounge singer outfits with those velvet jackets, his crazy hair, the obnoxiously big ring, the ridiculous fight scenes - all of it! And while I loved Jo, I always found it ridiculous when companions would trade TRAVELING ALL OF TIME & SPACE to go home and lead a "normal" life. Who does that?! And to chase after fungus? How... romantic. LOL! Ah, well. At least they were getting married. The poor Doctor driving away, all alone, was so very sad.
I miss this show so much. I look at the degenerate mess that is the current incarnation and I want to weep.
I think this was the first time in my life I had ever heard the word Omega pronounced, *O* me ga, instead of, o *MAY* ga. I didn't even understand what he was saying until I turned on the captions, LOL!
I look forward to seeing this when done with work stuff!
Great vid
Yay!!!
@ 2:45 😂 slightly ashamed for laughing so much
One of the best seasons of Doctor Who ever made, in my opinion! This was what kicked off my deep dive a little bit back; being able to name all these stories in order ended up making me able to name the entirety of the Classic series, also (generally) in order! And a fantastic video looking at it! Thanks very much! I'll be very sad when season 11 comes out; I love Jon Pertwee as the Doctor so much.
Ótimo conteúdo, que Bom que voltou a postar!
Deserved at least 100X the subscribers
what great timing, i just binge watched the first nine videos yesterday!!
Hardcore!
Nine is a great number and a great doctor
I was so happy when i saw this notification. Keep doing the time lords work.
Yay so happy You're still making these!
So, the whole Master Situation from frontier in space was never really resolved, was it?
The production team had a plan to resolve the Master's story arc, but the actor who played the Master, Roger Delgado, died in a car accident after filming Frontier in Space so they never got to implement it. There was no script written so it's all speculation how it would have turned out, but they were toying with the idea of revealing that the Master was the Doctor's brother!
@@doctorohosadventures3476 Wow, so sad!
Can’t believe we actually got a story where the title didn’t spoil that the daleks involvement.
I love this series! So well put together, they are all major comfort videos
Wow, looks like the UA-cam algorithm listened. After I was several months late to the last one I’m finally early for this one. You seriously deserve more recognition for the high quality work you do.
Goodbye Jo Grant, Hello Sarah Jane Smith! I cannot tell you how grateful I am, or we are, to have these high quality recaps!! Thank you very much
You're welcome!
22:40. The sexiest legs of any of the Doctor’s companions 🤔
The TARDIS's ability to move around in space and sometimes time is especially inconsistent this season, isn't it?
Are the time machines in Day of the Daleky ever named? If not, they could really be primitive early vortex manipulators.
