Just do the job
This guy is great but he talks a lottttttt
Oil flushes, saved my engine with my oil and coolant mixed
You righ! Don't flush your engine. Use high quality oil. Your engine will last longer. I never flush my engine. Now, 300,000k still run good.
I rinse the engine a few times with cheap engine oil then at the end put Castrol engine oil
I have same issue thanks for the heads up y el bi_o en la _____ el deo en el c_lo had me checking up at the end of the End hahahaha we used to sing that at friends houses in x mass
Just did a Molly flush on a 2012 Silverado with 395,000 km. I was getting oil pressure sensor code, changed sensor and code came back in 20 minutes. So I did the flush and the code went away and my oil pressure increased back to normal.
That's right, my 2.0HDi engine is rubbish now after flush.
It works fine for all car fluids differential, ATF transmission, Power Steering etc, lol......The fluid coming out of the brake line could not care less what what in that container....Nice Post ...Thanks
This is facts.I used bar leaks to stop a radiator leak which I just had fixed and I have no idea how the new radiator cracked but it did.so I used bar leaks and it did work but now I’m stalling so something in the hoses is clogging up making the engine hot
All the old timmers say never do an engine flush, especially on a high milage engine. It can do more harm than good.
frank - is the Maximus 2 obsolete ?
It's only good to do on old high mileage cars not low mileage newer cars
BG EPR to keep on top keep sludge and keep it away & BG Dynamic Service if you have it built up bad. The secret is use something that will dissolve the outer parts of it away and hold in suspension and not breaks big chunks loose. Science and chemistry do not require belief. TBH best to get oil analysis periodically done from there you will able tell with your environment and driving style what happening inside your engine and how often you should change the oil...
Does Dealership do Engine Flush because someone Dealership like Honda does it😊
Think I can use this to change my rear dif fluid on my 20 and 23 chargers? And that hose for the pump, you have to clean that after every use hub?
Dude... Worst instructions ever. I got fired for just walking around and talking.
Thanks for the insight bro
Making a video about something I dont know...mmmm what? Its kerosone 1 qrt for every 4 qrt of oil is the formula. Mechanics known this for decades. You drain a about cup oil you inspected if it looks neglected then prepare to remove the drain pan to scrub it and clean the pu oil pump filter after a motor flush. If it looks like the use oil is decent normal wear you dont need to pull the pan after a motor flush. Just change oil and oil filter. After this you do your maintenance interval as required. You are literally saying keep going with that sludge till the car dies which is what the car manufacture wants. New motor is way more $$$ than removing oil pan clean pu filter for the oil pump if you had to after a motor flush. Notice I said motor ...lawd. Did this to a '95...5.0. 3 years later I upgraded the heads, old lifters and crank case still looked brand new zero sludge.
Engine flush doesn’t exist , better change oil 1,000 miles for 3 times that’s engine flush
With that problem. That afec no turning the fans on?
I have a diesel truck and I have milky oil because of a bad water pump or perhaps the egr, I have already replaced both should I do an oil flush?
That growl!!! Nicely done
The mechanics don’t doing, cause this procedure keep the engine properly running and healthy for long periods. Then can’t make so much money, about that you save money and then lose.
I don't believe in engine flushes. If you neglected your maintenance to the point where your motor is sludged up then the valve cover and oil pan need to be removed so that the engine can be cleaned. Then it should have a high detergent oil run through it for about 1000 miles and then changed with another high quality oil.
I have no problem using BG products on my 2013 Toyota Corolla and 2011 Lexus ES 350. They do get oil changes ever 3-5k Miles. This guy must be talking about people who neglect their car's. Guy who doesn't do engine flushes knows about engine flushes lol,
I never use flushes either. I recommend a product like Rislone which is basically just 10W-30 with 10 times the normal amount of regular oil detergents. It's no where near as fast or complete as a flush for curing things like lifter noise or cleaning the oil pickup screen, but over the course of a few thousand miles, it does most of the things a flush will do and it's totally safe to use. Seafoam or Marvel Mystery oil added a few hundred miles before an oil change cleans reasonably well too on an old engine with lifter noise; and though not thorough like a flush, will help keep the engine on older cars pretty deposit free after a few oil changes.
Yap, yap, yap. Nuff talk but no facts, pure speculation.
I understand your point however I have a 2016 ford explorer and I have used engine flush every 20000 miles and I now have 140000 miles on this vehicle I just replaced the water pump and all the timing chain components as they all come in the kit. And you being a mechanic probably know that the water pump of the ford 3.5 liter engine is its Achilles heel and if the water pump fails it could ruin the engine. Because I have used Amsoil and did the flush every 20000 miles the inside of this engine is just like new absolutely no sludge buildup of any kind.
Hi people I am not a car mechanic, but an ordinary individual So..here's how I do it I buy an engine flush, 2 OEM oil filters☝️, 2 OEM gradational 5L oil packages ☝️ and 2 OEM quarter screws with OEM seal I put 3dcl flush liquid inside the engine, run it for 10min and let out that "watery" dirty oil out...i wait for cca~2hours so all drops are out🙌👌 Then I change oil fiter and put first batch of oem oil, new seal screw, then run it for 20min to collect every residual flushing chemicals with any existing residual dirt.. Let it out until single drop is completely out.. Aaaand in the end I put again fresh oem oil with fresh oem filter and oem seal screw, check the oil level add it a little bit until it levels perfectly👌👌👌 My engine is dry Engine seals are dry also!!! Purrs like kitten and runs perfectly I do it like that every 6 months No repairs at all what so ever related with engine itself☝️☝️☝️ No fooling you guys😐🙌☝️
THE PROBLEM WITH TODAYS ENGINES IS THE STUPID DEALERS HAVE OIL CHANGES THAT EXCEED 3000KM JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE USING SYNTHETIC MEANS NOTHING MOST DEALERS ARE GOING BY OIL LIFE WHICH IS A BS SYSTEM SO THOSE PEOPLE MAY NEED IT MORE THAN THE OLD SCHOOL WAY OF CHANGING OIL
ITS NEEDS TO BE DONE WITH GDI ENGINES CAUSE THEY ARE THE WORST
USE LUBEGARD ENGINE FLUSH IT'S THE SAFEST PRODUCT NO SOLVENTS ITS SAFE...I AGREE WITH YOUR COMMENTS BUT ITS DEPENDS ON THE MOTOR BUT STILL USE LUBEGARD
I flush my old vehicles for 12000 miles with cheap conventional oil. It works! A wonderful sludge blanket with a low oil pressure light. NOT!!! A 3000 mile change interval. Synthetic oil with OEM filter or premium quality. Get an old beater and drain old oil, new filter, flush, drop pan clean. New pan gasket and new filter and best oil. Short change. Inspect. It works if the engine was not ruined from neglect. WHEW!!! Easier to change oil at 3000 to 5000 If Premium oil, filter and a great prayer life. Lol ps I run rigs on and off road for 300,000 if the dadgumn running gear can take the mountain logging terrain! Love, Peace and Awareness precious Spirits!
Magic
55:30 .... the secret to accessing those otherwise nearly inaccessible rear manifold bolts.
I overstand what u r say n. So 4 meits agive ad take situation. It al depend on the way u care ur engine. Its very important u do a second flush wth oil b4 fill with ur oil.
You are a horrible mechanic.
Frank, I have been maintaining cars for many years and only change the engine oil. No pointless oil flushes to waste money and possibly worse.
Regardless of what you do to your engine sludge will build up and components will break down there is nothing you can do it is a machine.
Scottie Kilmer claims you should never disassemble your engine.
Surely if it doesn't break it all up, whatever is left is just in situ where it always was, you've just removed "some" of the gunk?
Your mad how can a clean engine be bad ,you don’t buy your car with a black guck filled engine you’d want your money back so clean you engine everybody and it will last for years
If you have missed a schedule on change oil, do an engine flush. It's that simple. Like for example you missed it 500 miles over from your change oil schedule. Better to do an engine flush to be sure.
Bla bla bla
I used to use Diesel fuel oil after draining the old oil out and run the engine for no more than two minutes on a cold engine.Drain and replace oil filter fill back up with new oil. Never had any problems using this method, did it for several years

Thanks Frank, very good review. I did give a thumbs up lol Scanners are so expensive now. I need one for my 2020 X3M-C for a "Driver's side sear restraint" warning light smh... Just not sure which scanner will even work on the thing. I've tried like 5 scanners so far and none of them can reset that code. Will one of these work? Thanks again.
What if you use the bar leak how can you remove it and use something else
