Your vent tube might be stopped up on the transmission there's a two runs down the back of the transmission run a wire up through it that might help you out

Biggest mistake you can do putting them plastic covers back on the field tanks. The collect dirt, mud and gravel and WILL rust th bottom of the tank out..I took and left mine off.🇺🇲👍

fram filters are the worse oil filter you could put on any motor

It sounds like whoever put that carburetor on closed the fuel off on idle circuit so it's not pulling the right amount of gas to stay running at a low rib

Check the firing order on your motor before you start messing with the timing

Southwest speed is where i get my driveshafts. With a short tail transmission those trucks had a 2 piece driveshaft.
