By the way for level four license here in Texas in Houston where I live we do 400 logical questions nhpd officers do 900 psychological questions also we were never told to put anything up we were allowed to bring phones our own pins because it's about making you feel comfortable when you take the test not making you feel uncomfortable but I believe that the reason why they did that over there was because they test you to see if you are going to let the stress take over you but like I said here in Houston level three license is all about Pinnacles 100 questions and personal bodyguard it's like a peace officer a little bit higher than it just a regular security guard the difference is security guards they are there to see and observe our license to arrest people and put handcuffs and detain them as you call the police and level 3 license are only allowed to carry only what they were certified with for instance I will certify with a 9mm and a 12-gauge shotgun you can still carry any other type of handgun and also remember DPS will show up at any time at your post and ask you for your credentials to make sure you're updated on everything if you're not updated on your license then the company will get fined and always remember if you purchase a firearm make sure it's legit Firearms cuz DPS will check to see if it's not stolen and if you get into security or personal bodyguard you must make sure you renew your license ahead of time never say I'm going to wait for the last minute and then you don't do it because if you do that then they will consider you abandon your application and you will have to start all over again I tell you this if you get angry real easy and the first thing you think your gun is the right thing to pull do not work in security and have a gun do something else if you get angry very fast because believe me I experienced a lot of people and I'm going on 15-years or more doing security and bodyguard so be strong if you think that's what you want to do then go for it just be careful when you actually start working carrying a weapon

Okay level three license is not the same as personal bodyguard level three license when you do a test you must know Pinnacles of the government that it asks you to or false and it takes like 5 weeks to do the test and to go to the shooting range to see how good you are at shooting and when you shoot the gun at the range you must shoot around the chest area not the head that's how they score you how good you are at shooting you can also pay extra to get certified with a shotgun four level three license there is no psychological test for level 3 license there ain't no psychological test for level 3 license now level four you take a test has to do with military stuff like when you are out there in battle it's basically you answer true or false can I believe it's about a hundred questions and the rest will be psychological answers and what is psychological so they determine what you're going to do in the future my first time I was around military people they've been out there in war and that's what helped me how to understand the level four license for bodyguard first time I paid $250 for everything you get a certificate you take it to your company and you must make sure that that company does level three and level four license once you get your certificate you take it to your boss and let your boss send your stuff out to DPS and renew your license or you can do it on your own this year I just did mine on the 21st I took my test and actually passed it I remember everything from the first test not only paid $140 for the certificate in the test I still have to pay to get my certificate separate and to pay for my license to be renewed again for two more years has a level three and level four personal bodyguard when you do level four lights since test and you pass the automatically give you the level 3 license together and here in Texas when you get your level 3 you are able to carry a baton and pepper spray but most companies will have you take a test for a license to prove that you know about pepper spray and Baton I am licensed for everything and I also have my open carry license for 5 years you have to make sure you're always on top of your license cuz DPS can show up at any time at your job and check your credentials and check your gun that you possess on you to make sure that it's not stolen and having my level four license I can work side jobs as a bodyguard Daddy's here in Houston and all your information you take from your level for license they keep it for 10 years and files that's how they determine what you are going to do in the future and a test for bodyguard is common sense they give you the answers over and over in different ways and you will answer them true or false now remember this second time I just did my license if I would have filled the class I would have to pay again but I was able to remember everything from the first test and thank God that I passed my test so I am good for another two more years and the level 3 license when you take that it's 5 days you have to go to class when I first did My Level 3 I did everything they showed me how to take a gun apart if your bully gets stuck in there they show me how to put handcuffs on people and they show me how to fight against criminals show all my certificates that I have I am certified for everything remember you must keep all your certificates just in case you ever get into a shootout and you go to court the judge will ask you for all your information where did you get training and they will ask you for all your certificates so remember play save be safe and don't do nothing stupid Harley Texas one mess up in your life is over with my advice to everyone always carry a body camera because it's your word against their word and the body camera will save your life from going to prison

Very good video. 30 years in Armed Security. You articulated some very good points about circumstances and the environments that we have to navigate. I really enjoyed working for a private patrol alarm response company. It was enjoyable and had a lot of freedom, just be in your assigned area and respond to the radio calls. I climbed into supervision. I followed some of my associates into Federal Contracts and it changed my life. I think that we currently get paid equally or more than LEOs. We have to deal with a lot of nonsense and I enjoy those challenges. I appreciate that you made this video, and I hope that you are happy with whatever you do now.

In the span of 10 years I volunteered to serve in the US Army as an airborne MP, then got picked up as a full time LEO for department of homeland security. In that time I also worked security work on the side. The title of this video is misleading. I still work security for a reputable company and honestly. It’s sitting in my own personal car getting paid 30+ bucks an hour. The gentlemen you were talking about never made the move when he was younger and is now paying for it.

Everybody has their own opinions about working security i been doing it for 6 years and i love it i worked for different companies that didn't pay well that's why you move on to a higher paying security job or apply for security in the airport or hospital you not apart of an outside you in house with the team not outside company and you have a future with them.
