Hey whats up bro like your videos I been doing security in Missouri last several years and just started as armed security about a year ago pay is pretty good as an armed guard I got a couple days cause I have some other stuff I'm doing to but I have been trying to get a couple more days with the same pay and have had a hard time getting it lots of these jobs are offering alot lower than I would like and just can't justify that much lower pay anyway you said on one of your videos you want to here some about us to just telling you some stuff going on with me that I'm working on keep up the good videos they are very interesting kinda reminds me that this job is pretty good and helps me keep grinding and keep pushing forward. One more thing my gun realy pulls my pants down and my duty belt is very oncomfortable I think it's from the wait of the gun does the leg holster help that problem or should I go for gun on vest set up is there a holster that goes on the vest? Anyway thanks for the videos bro.
You need to have on a regular belt that holds up your pants and then you have to have a belt that goes over that belt that holds your gun when I first started I made the mistake of trying to put the gun on my regular belt that holds my pants up and it would pull my pants down too so you get a regular belt and then you get a duty belt that's only for your gun nothing else if you feel like you're making too little man then you got to find somewhere else to work I don't work for lower than 35 bucks an hour and normally work for 42 I'm talking about an area where the average guard makes 18 bucks an hour I'm telling you it's possible you just got to know how to interview all my videos pretty much teach you to know you're worth know your value and value your time
A lot of police do the same thing. I frequently see police working security at CVS or Walgreens distracted with their phones, often times with their backs to the public, leaning on the counter.
If you build that koi pond you should look into getting a couple Chinese high fin banded sharks. I seen a couple in the koi pond at my local fish store and they look so cool. And they’re algae eaters

NC has the provision for private police. You should definitely try that out! They are owned by private companies and have the authority of sheriff deputies on whichever properties they are contracted to
@@defcon3security782 dude I’ve been watching you for a while and I wanna welcome you to NC. I’m in NC myself and work for Capitol Special Patrol out of Raleigh. If you are anywhere in the surrounding area I’d definitely recommend giving my company a try. Very professional way of going about things and very nice gear/ equipment. We have lots of patrol shifts as well as static post so there’s something for you. I'm 25, recently had a baby boy, and am insterested in becoming an armed guard. I've been binge watching your videos and was expecting more elitism. I have no military experience but have body armor, rifles, a 9mm handgun and have been tempted to join the military on and off for several years. I live in Oregon and I don't want military life to take complete control over my family life. A armed security position seems like a great balance in that regard, and I've seen you claim you make $40 an hour or three figures a year. Here in Oregon making $20 an hour is seen as "rich" by many of my peers and I can live somewhat comfortably at just 15-17$ an hour as I dont have many exspenses besides my newborn and life necessities, no debt. If possible even though I don't know how I'd repay you, but I'd like to possibly get in touch with you even if it's so you tell me that it's not for me. The past few years I was going for an accounting degree and I got my associate's but I've stopped pursuing it since I feel like it wasn't my actual desire, and was doing so to satisfy my familys perspective on success rather than my own. I already have my ccw and carried everday I was in the college classroom. I feel like I'm being pulled towards this in ways I can't explain. I've talked with my friends and family as much as I can but the more I do the less confident I feel. They probably feel betrayed as I'm starting to pull off into a completely separate direction than what they had envisioned for me, but right now maybe the only chance I get even if I do fail. Sorry for the long rant, but as I've been researching this I've definitely taken your slogan "know your worth know your value" to Heart because I feel like you might've felt the same way when you first started, and it's helped me believe that maybe I can do this. Maybe I can even be great and seen as one of the good ones and looked up to like you are today. Thanks for taking the time to read this, I'm obviously lost and already appreciate what you've given me without ever seeing my face. -Jared
Email me at defconguards@gmail.com your phone number will schedule a phone call and I'll walk you through it you are definitely worth more than you think I'll keep it basic though if the boss is paying you $20 he's making $45 sometimes they don't make a profit on account they just want somebody that can make the company look good because the last employees screw things up so bad
Damn it's a little late I'm sorry I didn't see this message yesterday the most important thing I think the secret to passing the test is being nice to the people at the front desk I think they are the ones that are examining you to see if you're crazy or not and that whole test you took was fake just to make you think that that was a test if that makes sense
Hey man I certainly appreciate it I'm finally starting to settle in and get some new videos out just put one out today I need to be more consistent but there's so much to do out here in Carolina as far as getting the house together and build up the way I wanted to be

Have you made the move yet do you know when you plan on doing it Florida would be an awesome place you could always stop by and say hi in North Carolina you might find that it's everything you need concealed carry bullets forever you can buy machine guns silencers you name it
@@defcon3security782 you need to turn it side ways before hitting record. If you change from lateral view to panoramic view while recording, your video might come out sideways so i dont recommend changing views while recording.
It's a shame, " I liked his contact. I don't blame him at all. If he decided to never come back to UA-cam? Security's is not worth it in my opinion. Risking your life for shity pay!
I will say that something's have changed since I've made that video I make extremely good money right now and security and my next move is to finally open my security company if you're making very little money like I did when I first started you know 12 to 14 bucks an hour you're doing something wrong I don't work less than 35 an hour now I've been making 42 occasionally as well per hour in an area that averages 7-13 an hour
congrats man, good job for leaving Communist CA, too expensive to live and not enough pay to pay your bills. at least in North Carolina, it's not that expensive to live there and it's an open carry state, that is if your a gun guy, but anyways hope you enjoy your new place.
Thank you I definitely appreciate the encouragement and yes it is open carry I'm still getting used to people walking around caring and getting ammunition that's impossible to find in California at Walmart is just as crazy
@@defcon3security782 oh yea definitely, over there it's basically you buy your gun and ammo at a local Walmart or Target right there and then without any background check or waiting period. I'd be very very happy if I can move to one of those states, but CA is where I lived my whole life and I'm not planning on moving soon and even if I did it would probably be one of the states next to CA.

@@Bambino762 when did they start doing that? Last time I've heard, if you're in a state that doesnt have serious gun control, you can just go and get your gun on the same day with no waiting period or background check. You just have to show your I.D.

I see it all day long brother I just don't know I really don't know it's terrible and dangerous
Well now you can carry a full magazine.
Tell me about it you can buy extendos drum magazines you name it out here absolutely insane
Awesome 👏!!!!!
Thank you sir coming from UA-cam's biggest influencer that means a lot be safe out there in my prayers
If you build that koi pond you should look into getting a couple Chinese high fin banded sharks. I seen a couple in the koi pond at my local fish store and they look so cool. And they’re algae eaters
I'm going to look into that that actually sounds pretty awesome
I would love to get in contact with you I’m starting out in security and would love to talk about your journey please feel free to reach out to me
You could always email me through my channel site
The best thing in life is to never give up
You nailed it likewise the best thing in life is to have the ability to say no and only say yes when it benefits you more
Hey defcon 3 could you please do a new video on what to do when your a supervisor and certain employees give you a hard time in security about doing there patrols etc.
I'll try to get one out tonight if not tomorrow on that topic thank you brother
@@defcon3security782 I appreciate you!
Baby come back, your all I ever need. Babe I'm sorry, lalanananaa... Miss the D3 content! Hope all is well.
Thank you brother sorry it took so long to get back to these messages I literally got so busy exploring North Carolina and building up my new house that I just basically had to put UA-cam on the side but I have so many people that are asking so many questions and need so much Direction I figured okay I'm ready to do this again
@@defcon3security782 Right on Mike! Nice to hear from you :)
Likewise brother
NC has the provision for private police. You should definitely try that out! They are owned by private companies and have the authority of sheriff deputies on whichever properties they are contracted to
Problem is I'm 46 years old don't know if they would consider me at this age
@@defcon3security782it’s worth a try! you don’t look 46 at all lol
We definitely do look like a lot of our local police departments which I feel gives us an advantage over being just a “security guard”
You out of the YT game now? Curious as to how things are going.
I'm still in the UA-cam game I just made a couple of videos this week just took some time off to explore North Carolina and work on my new house
Hey brother, i work for Tr#$e security do you have any advice from previous experience LOL?
I hope they pay you better than they paid me if not then you're wasting your time
@@defcon3security782 you were Armed with them correct? I was making 30 but i didn't want to put up with the commute from Modesto to palo alto it wasn't worth it anymore so i took a pay cut to be able to work locally what did they pay armed guards the time you were with them if you dont mind me asking i wont get into detail you know how they are with all the sign you life away with the confidentiality mumbo jumbo LOL
I'll be moving in to rent a room. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
As long as you bring security dog with you
I'm 25, recently had a baby boy, and am insterested in becoming an armed guard.
Hey Mike tomorrow I take my psych exam hope I pass it I watch some of your videos on it if I fail it I’m gonna feel like a idiot.
Wow! Congrats! 🎉
Thank you so much the journey was long but glad to be here
Congratulations on the big move bro
Hey man I certainly appreciate it I'm finally starting to settle in and get some new videos out just put one out today I need to be more consistent but there's so much to do out here in Carolina as far as getting the house together and build up the way I wanted to be
By the way congratulations on the move it was very smart to do that.
Probably one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life thank you so much I feel like I'm finally getting there
Congratulations!!
Thanks !!! Feeling so blessed
Where are you Mike?
I'm back brother didn't really go anywhere just got caught up in my new life out here in North Carolina there's so much to do and explore and build
@@defcon3security782 Thank God, you are fine and enjoy your new life
Congratulation!
Thank you!
Glad to see you again brother
Thank you sir coming from one of UA-cam's biggest influencers that means a lot
@@defcon3security782 lol I wish brother.. I'm glad to see you moved closer to freedom.
are you still an armed security guard
Congratulations on the move
Thank you so much can't wait until everything is moved out it's crunch time I pretty much have one week to have everything from my old house moved to North Carolina
Open carry bro hell I'm tempted to move for just that reason. I'll make a video tonight about why I say that. Best of luck I'm happy for yea.
Yes it is so weird to have that freedom
You can even lose your life from police officers just thought that I would let you know about that.!'
This is very true
I’m leaving Brooklyn ny
And going to Florida or maybe
Texas
Have you made the move yet do you know when you plan on doing it Florida would be an awesome place you could always stop by and say hi in North Carolina you might find that it's everything you need concealed carry bullets forever you can buy machine guns silencers you name it
Question, are you married? Or a girlfriend.
The other good news is you rarely hit 95 ever. A little colder along with the snow.
Yes sir you are absolutely right
panoramic view recordings brings more viewers.
I may sound dense but was this video panoramic view or do I need to turn the phone sideways?
@@defcon3security782 you need to turn it side ways before hitting record. If you change from lateral view to panoramic view while recording, your video might come out sideways so i dont recommend changing views while recording.
It's a shame,
" I liked his contact.
@@jedizelfknight it's scary man I won't lie but it was an easy decision rent for the rest of my life or buy a house also the freedom is out here it's crazy don't have to pay for plastic bags taxes are low gasoline is $3 and something a gallon but I understand what you're saying I'm 46 years old and feel like I'm a little too old to start over but you know adapt and adjust right
@@jedizelfknight every gun purchase requires a background check, stop spreading misinformation.
@@Bambino762 when did they start doing that? Last time I've heard, if you're in a state that doesnt have serious gun control, you can just go and get your gun on the same day with no waiting period or background check. You just have to show your I.D.
Free state, no more gay 10 rnd mags
It's insane you could literally buy drum magazines extenders you name it
I remember wen you had 100 subs … look at you now lol
Yes sir definitely made some strives but UA-cam ain't paying the bills LOL so I don't get on here as much as I used to I really should though I've definitely met a lot of great people and had a lot of encouragement thanks for being there from the beginning though man that means a lot
Glad you made it out of Commiefornia.
Yes I'm glad I made it out too the more I experience life here the more realize how horrible it is out there
Hey where you at
Good question..I need to make a video soon
@@defcon3security782 ya think
