Maybe I'm just a noob and I don't understand the correlation here but the first parts of the video that are meant to cover non popped shuvs are confusing because there's constant conflation between the popped and non popped shuvs. You're not really trying to pop the board if you're doing a regular shuv, no? When I do a normal shuv and a popped shuv they feel very different to me, because the way I need to use my back leg is quite different since I don't have to swing back as hard for a pop shuv as I would for a regular shuv. You literally say, let's try this without popping first but then proceed to give a lot of advice on popping during the trick. Please let me know your thoughts on this!

What helps me is to put weight on the heelside before popping fs shuvs. Tried all kinds of back foot positions in the past, but the basic ollie position is the most consistent
