24 years old from Beit Shemesh, Israel. My husband is currently serving on the Northern border. This episode gave me so much chizzuk not for the reasons you think… Shlomo and Chanalee talk about doing preparation or “hachanos” to prepare yourself for what is to come. While my husband is up serving, I have been feeling so helpless and alone, but their insight empowers me to use this time to better myself and do hachanos for his return. ❤️
I also live in Beit Shemesh and would love to send you something whilst your husband is serving. We are with you 💜🇮🇱 Please be in touch! @olivesandhoneyrbs

We learn from life about who we are and what we need. I like what Shlomo and Chanalee said about imagining the kind of person you want to see yourself with, imagine their middot and values and after being in a bad marriage and getting divorced I did that and dated one man who has the very qualities that are so important to me and we are now married for 4 1/2 years so I definitely see this manifested in my own life. I had an older friend who taught me to visualize what I want and ask Hashem for what I want and whenever I did, it worked.I also liked what was said about working on yourself to be the kind of person that they would want, to always have goals and to work on improving yourself as a person.
