Its just so scary i am 24 and i tried i tried to pass god damn it i tried and thought i about the time i failed and said i will do it differently but nothing happened all the asking and the reading and thr bs showed me as insufficient instead of hard working they really broke my heart

I don't even know what to say,never in my childhood did i thought i would be so much worried about a bunch of numbers, I'm an under average person with almost no skills as well,so i really can't fail, I have no choice but to keep going until i get a job because if i fail, I feel like i would be a waste of a product my parents invested on,being poor,bad at studies with no skills is a hell of a combo,at some point i just wanted to end it all but that also is not an option for me cause it'll bring all the responsibilities to my brother,he can't even cook at age 14, I don't want him to get under pressure like me,this sole thought has carried me upto now,i really don't have any other option or atleast the options I've found till now,i wish that I could have died before being conscious

doesn't help that I'm in a really competitive school where people are bawling their faces out for getting below a 90... and I already feel like I'm down 20+ points from how things were in 11th grade. It's not failing, but school just got real bad real fast and my parents do expect me to be up there with those 90 average people because in there eyes, I have all the potential in the world and I'm merely just not trying hard enough, and yet something just makes me so sad inside trying to "try"

I’m a sophmore and I’m worried as hell so I passed freshman year good for me but dude I am failing 4 classes now the reason I passed freshman year is cause I did summer school so i might do it again whcih is nice it’s cool but like what I’m worried is my future I am real smart but I like to go out more i skate i go to the mall and stuff and now school just makes me depressed to even do what I want so I decided to take special educational classes and it’s better i know it’s not cool but it’s good to save yourself and I’m glad I chose that for myself because my goal is to make my parents proud at least and to make myself proud but you’re right dude and I’m glad ur doing good

I came here again after 5-6 months. I stopped going to classes on my final sem last year (11th grade) and i thought i was going to fail. at the end i barely passed but my parents found out about my absences and that ive been lying to them this whole time. now im on my final year in high school and the midterms of first sem is coming but i haven't been going to school for almost a month now because i couldn't figure out what to do with my life. i feel so pathetic just locking myself up at home and playing games just to escape from my problems while constantly lying to my parents that ive been going to school even though im not. i dont know what course to take for college and i don't think my grades meet the requirements for a scholarship. i fucked up my life and i hate myself. i didn't have any close friends nor could i tell my parents about it because i know they would become so disappointed and frustrated at me. ive been bottling it all up that i even thought of just killing myself to end it all. i tried to fix my mindset over the few months that passed after i finished year 11 and i made no single progress. the cylce just repeats of me constantly thinking that yeah tomorrow is going to be the day for change but my mind would fuck it up over and over again and tell me that its of no use and that i should just give up. ive been stuck watching motivational videos online just so i could still hold to the hope that i would continue going to school but its of no use. i just can't bring myself to go no matter how many days has passed. the anxiety, fear, guilt, unmotivation and the fact that im not even friends with any of my classmates just makes me feel dreadful of even think of going. i really wanted to have someone to support me right now because i feel like everything might just crumble down and it'll be too late but I can't find anyone on my family, relatives and friends that i trust enough to talk to. they'll most likely just invalidate my feelings and tell me that i should stop being lazy and overreacting just like what my parents told me when i first opened up to them.

Today I made the decision to repeat the last grade of high school because I cannot get the grade I want in Iraq. Everything depends on the grade, although I am a person who believes that no one will be successful or unsuccessful in his life because of his studies, because it does not determine anything. If you look at the best people in the world, you will see that only a few of them completed their studies. I believe that I will become a very successful person in the future, but not because of my studies, because I will take the certificate and put it on the shelf. In our society they do not value those who do not have a university degree, and for this reason I will get the certificate and will not use it to be a successful person in his life. And after two years how did you become?

I’m getting my second masters soon, and hopefully get promoted and go somewhere else within the aerospace industry. I think high school is overrated. Go to a running start program. You start college soon.

i was on the verge of failing my 10th grade but in 12th i worked hard and scored 77% ik its not a lot i had a lot of problems in 12th grade and so as a physiological l torture in 10th by my teachers and parents but somehow by God's Grace, I passed out. The teacher who taunt me are no more in my life , people who call you a failure have smth very wrong going on in their lives just focus on urself man, there is no such thing has an absolute failure as long as u have roof over ur head and food on ur table by legal means.

Man I’m in grade 11 and got a diploma pass for term 2 I have 2 terms left and it feels like I failing and I hate seeing my mom and dad disappointed with me I’m doing the best I can to study and keep up but it’s not enough. I event started content creation and hopping it blows up one day. this is actually really good advice. I graduated high school this year and let me tell you, it gets better once you get out of high school. Just focus on getting your work done. Also change the way you look at high school. Again you can always get a GED. I’m currently at a community college and studying and i’m way happier than i was at high school. Freedom is so important

Go through homeschool and if you’re worried about your social life try to join a sports team and maybe do one or two two classes in school. Better way to not deal with those who can prevent you from learning and have an actual education. Not related to the topic but just wanted to say my piece

Im scared of disappointing my single mom. I go to online school and im a 10th grader, she put me in online school because I hated 9th grade in public school. She always told me ''don't be the best student, just be average'' and I failed to do that. my mom was an incredible student and same with my dad they were 1st in their class in all of their years and here am I about to fail 10th grade because I haven't studied all year and Im late on my history and programing classes. I just got a messege from my teacher a week ago that I didn't even see until now. it said ''im sorry''' Im just absolutely devistated I don't know what to do or what im looking for when writing this. And I just feel sorry for my mom, I could've just listened and studied her financial situation was always a bit above average until now. Shes getting 1 bad news after another and I haven't even told her and Im scared to tell her. I love my mother with all my heart and I don't wanna hurt her even more.

In my opinion I think that education is important but I will admit that it is outdated and in some cases it isn’t for everyone and even in rare cases it’s best to dropout but for the majority of people should get their diploma just as in emergency in case you need get a good that requires on or you want get a degree College is different because it depends if you really like a job but need a degree then take it but don’t drop out of college once you started because then ur just dropping money in the trash
