EPISODE #3 SANY EXCAVOTOR FOR LOT CLEARING
I was gonna subscribe but like a lot of other sites you talk way more than you show the work. I don't sub to talk.
Lot of good info in that talking. Come back later I'll work on it
Love your Vids.
Wow man! What a purchase!! For sure get a lot of work done with that 💪🏽
300 hours on her now. Been a great machine
Super excited I came across your channel! Looking forward to watching you & your process on building! Cheers from Canada!
Welcome
Just found your channel-looks like an awesome journey ahead! Thanks for sharing
Welcome
Looking great man!
I see your a pilot. When this house is done I'm going on the hunt for a 170b.
@@bar6builds605 dude awesome! I just started my house build but when that’s done a hanger and grass strip are next. Hoping for a Maule eventually
Looking great dude!
Amazing, good luck finishing it.
Fingers crossed!
Looks awesome, its always been my goal to build my own house. Did you consider doing fewer larger windows on the large wall or did the price just increase to much?
No I like the separate Windows
@@bar6builds605 Nice, I can never decide which ones I like more. I always see such great examples of both.
I did ICE block across Canada and installed over 300 basements. The important thing to watch is first two courses need to be staiight and use batter board. You are supposed to pour in four foot lifts. The first course can also be wet set laid to a line. It helped that I am a brick/ blocklayer by trade. Different material but concept is same.
Speaker had good skills but changing a few things would have helped him.
I learned a lot on that one. What have you seen for covering the ICF bottom of siding to grade. I can't come up with anything good looking
Nice brother
Booo wood house
What's your house made of?
nice job so far!!!
I getting ready to start my house and was hoping to see more of your videos on all aspects of framing and building. Just wanted to ask why you're not doing more videos?
That's funny. I'm definitely still doing videos. I can only work on my house nights and weekends so it's going very slow. The framing video is on its way and lots of cool stuff after that
Why it's that hot in December where you live? Or did you post this later in December?
Must have posted late. It's definitely not warm here in December
Why pick road base over gravel for compacted backfill? What would your preference be for under a footer?
Gravel under a footer with a vibration plate. Just don't put gravel where it can conduit water to your wall. Properly compacted Road base will almost repelll water from your foundation
Why not get your footings dead lasered…or am I retarded?
New to the channel! Love seeing ya do it all yourself, good for you!
Thanks but I'm getting tired
“You guys in the cubicles” 😭😭😭
It doesn't matter how much you try to convince people that it works and that is a good job, but if it looks like shit because you didn't take your time to make it look good, then you're a sloppy worker. I wouldn't like a house build with that kind of attitude. If you consider yourself a professional, then do professional kind of work. That thing you did there, doesn't look professional. It looks like done by a person that doesn't have self-esteem.
The " thing I did there" looks absolutely freaking awesome done by a true professional
I would trust you to build my house
Engineer here. No cubicle. Sold, I like it.
Imagine how freaked out people would be if they saw some of the shenanigans we have to pull in HVAC.
Somebody needs to take your sawzall away. Grrrrrr
We see it, that's why y'all have the name you do.
Your job is to build houses........my job is my job. We only care if you do good work because thats what we pay you for. Your job is no more important then anyone else. So again we dont care how it works only that you do your job like your supposed to. Now get off your horse and get back to work. I am busy saving lives in the ER........and watch Sponge Bob in between patients.
The point the guy is making is that what is being complained about is a cosmetic issue not a structural one, on a structural frame, that will not be seen when finished. It could have 3000 dicks drawn on it and it wouldn’t matter for his job.
Relax it's just a joke. I have mad respect for you guys in the medical field.
good vid. and yes, pencil pushers are losers.
im not here to say your work is bad or that it isnt the ideal way to do shit, but how much more time did that take than to just butt 2 beams together and angle screw them together? time is money and every time you do that we lose money on man hours and our profit margin decreases then you bitch at us when we start nickel and diming you on materials
the problem is that its good, but people dont *believe* you, because they see crooked line, or overcut depth on the parys that dont matter. it ALL matters, so that they WILL believe you, and then theyll PAY YOU.
"explain to you in the cubicles" yeah, because anybody who criticizes your work must just be a pencil pusher who doesn't know what they're talking about. Pfft, what an ignorant point of view to have.
I'll be using that phrase a lot in the future. Sorry
Looks like shit
Hell yeah dude! I'm gonna use that
Looks like cracked wooden beams to me
Its purdy, but that notch aint so purdy... good thing its framin. Lol
Notch is perfect on the outside. The inside is cut long and ugly to bring the face together perfectly. More advanced than you were thinking
Years ago, back in the mid-fifties. My dad more or less he can say build a barn in one day. He had it laying on the ground like that. Sheet metal and all when people went to work that morning. There was nothing there by that night. The whole building was there.
Is there a reason you didn't use an ICF footer?
Most rebar supply places will sell pre bent rebar corners at whatever size you require.
16 tons and what do you get ...
Another day older
I wish he would have said how long each stage took...hours/days/months
It took a long time because I could only work at night and weekends. I probably had 40 hours total by myself
Rough 😬
That's a bummer. It happened to me in 1996. I was a young framer, it took years to recover from the hit. @$4.15 sq ft back then, no room for error.
Cle elum wind
Colorado Springs?
On the bright side, by the time everyone is seeing your video those trusses are back up and covered 👍
You got that right!
I will do the cleanup if I can keep the lumber!
I’ve never seen the whole thing come down like that before.. at that point I’d just scratch it off and restart. Sifting through all that to see what’s salvageable would probably make me set it on fire. You got a lot of work ahead of you, best of luck!
At least you can feel good that you had them braced and tried to prepare.
You just earned my subscription for having to deal with that. Been a carpenter 23 years now myself, but I've only framed approx 25 houses in that time. Mainly do small remodeling/ handyman work for the past 15. Trusses have always freaked me out because I had a rope break one time, because my boss wanted to use it instead of a tow strap. It almost killed him and me in one swift swoop. 32' wide at bottom and like 15' up in the middle with a " bonus room" on top of the garage, so it was built with 2 x 8s. Anyway, I'm sorry that happened bro.
Maybe go back to cooking meth with Jesse?
That sucks
Dam brother sucks hope things are going better now
You look like Bryan Cranston. (Walter white)….Hope your day got better man!
I get the Walter all the time
