    After a long wait and much red tape you finally got the ok to begin construction. Busy but very exciting to get on with it!

    Glad to see concrete on the build site.
    In the north west you build on bed rock, in the south we build on spongy ground. Both have their fair share of problems.
    Keep at it.

      Ya we have pretty forgiving soil. We do have a lot of clay and expansive soils. You just need to make sure all your water has a place to go.

    Man that's a lot of #5. I'm getting ready to build on my Colorado mountain property, will be a lot of solo work, also been struggling to convince myself to buy the hpt cutter/bender. I'll have at least 3 foundations to do with it... Was a lot easier to convince myself to pick up the LA180L for some reason. Project looks good!

      Stabila should definitely be your first purchase. I absolutely love that laser. It's amazing what one guy can accomplish. Just grind everyday and all the sudden you have something huge accomplished
