Welcome to Finding Food Fluency, where a quest to find out a food's origins is limited --only by my scant knowledge of video editing, and a severe aversion to mayonnaise.

Having spent years traveling, and living overseas in East Asia -- with a stint in Mexico to boot -- it is my hope that you might learn a thing or two about what you eat or drink, and even some culinary vocabulary in other languages.
