Thanks for this. I was on my way to buy another printer because my husband needed to scan multiple documents. I had no idea you could scan multiple pages. You saved us some $$$$!
I'm sure this is an excellent tutorial BUT I am on a network that is provided by the building I live in and the app doesn't have the symbol available that our password uses, so I'm out of luck. I fail to understand why they have made it so difficult in more ways than one to use the scan function. I'm 77 and I don't really have the patience for this. So you know what I'm going to do? I'm going to use this one for printing and buy a separate scanner. I actually had one, but gave it away, thinking I didn't really need it. The whole set-up for this is unreal. I originally had the ET-2400 and had it up and running within 15 minutes after unboxing it. Why did they make this model so much more complicated?
Great video, thanks! But I want to scan from my laptop a few days later, the scanner can not find a laptop. But if I want to print my computer, it can detect the printer. Why is that?
Thanks so much. This was a great explanation. Quick question: Is there a way to scan legal size if you put it through the same entrance as the copying? Also, is it possible to straight email a scan instead of saving it on the phone?
I just wanted to find out how to scan and make a copy. I do NOT want to set up Wi Fi and all of that. I simply want to scan using the PRINTER ONLY like I do on other printers I have had. If I have to go through all of this just to scan, I bought the WRONG THING. Too many details. I do NOT want to tie it to my Cell Phone, my phone is too difficult to use. I need to get another.
OK, got all that. The big question is how to Scan to Email. Doesn't seem to be a user friendly way to do it. Epson talks of an "Email Server". I am surprised Epson has dropped the ball on this. If HP can do it Epson should be able to, too.
I had a brother printer for several years and it was extremely user friendly in all work functions with my Mac desk top and worked extremely well with my cell phone but my house burned to the ground and all my belongings lost in fire, so I got talked into buying an Epson mainly because of advertising and their ink system. What a huge mistake. This epson is the extreme opposite of my brother. Very unfriendly. I'm going to give it to someone I hate.
I'm trying to put in my network password and it keeps automaticly spacing and when i hit the x it erasers two spaces so i can't type the password. kind of weird if anyone has solutions
