The ending of this show already hit me pretty hard. Especially with this song. Coming on the internet after the fact and finding the meaning of the lyrics just smashed me to pieces over again. The whole time I'm following the lyrics I'm thinking it's from her perspective because of the picture. Then that last line drops and it's like... oh... oh...... Super power plot devices aside, this is a beautiful story that asks some heartfelt questions between characters. If you attempt to answer those questions for yourself you might find some painful things but I think you will also find some personal growth. Great show. Wish they didn't rush the end. ;)

Damn it my mood becomes gloomy, I feel like crying and I feel so lifeless. And damn the lyrics for the third part, it definitely feels like a talk between Yu and Tomori after he loses his memory especially when the lyrics come “but I’m starting to forget... if someone was... waiting for me” fuck it hurts

If they extended his journey for even an episode longer, it would have lost that feel to it. Although I do agree that adding one more episode about how it was affecting the others would have made it much more emotional, like have the last episode be showing how every one else was doing during his journey before cutting to Yuu taking the last ability and the ending playing out as it did
