@@HelloRoad I actually love the flat floor and general layout. I just dislike microsuede/alcantara/fuzzy fabrics on dash and door panels, and the fixed non-adjustable head restraints on the seats.
This thing has been hit by the ugly stick and dragged through the ugly mud and nuked with a ugly bomb. As for lifecycle and longevity of the EV, do you see the gas powered BMW's as beacons of ease of repair and durability? LOL They are all disposable lease vehicles. If you want durability, get a Lexus.
Had a IX 50 now for 6 months and can honestly say it’s one of the best cars I have owned I have cheap electricity from 12.00 to 7.00 and is ridiculously cheap to run a can ensure once you drive one you would love it
Enjoyed this new car review, this time not just because it was done in the style of my fav you tube channel, but how I was surprised by these futuristic features!
I love the iX. If you want to destroy every other car on the road, this is it (except maybe the Plaid, but not by much [M60]). With sticky non-EV tires, I'm ripping off 0-60 in 2.9. 1/4 in 11.0. Great review, but note that ALL of the sensors, including cell, lasers, GPS antennae are in that big grill. So, there's a reason. Notice no shark fin?
Wait...this has massaging seats but no cooled seats? That's a separate option package!? A very weird and annoying omission on a car this expensive! Especially on an EV, cooling passengers through the seats could help in reducing the strain on the air conditioning. This in turn would extend the real world electric range I would think...
I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'd rather have the Toyota Sienna minivan you recently reviewed. And, by the way, thanks for making videos worth watching even when the vehicles are boring and/or hideous.
It might drive nice, but I cannot imagine spending 100 grand on a car that looks like it should be 50. BMW's new cleaner/pig-noseless design aesthetic that we've seen previewed in recent concepts can't come soon enough!
I wish I could understand the appeal of the new front end design language. It's not for me. There have been a lot of "aesthetically challenged" BMWs over the years but also some really nice looking ones (E39, E38). I'd like to see more of that understated elegance!
How much does the subscription cost to get heated seats;; steering wheel, wireless charging, and kick open rear door?😂😂😂😂😂😂 But I would entertain on leasing this instead of buying anything German. 22:34 Own nothing, you shall Be happy; you will
BMW just gave up on the heated seat subscription because as you might guess, people hated it! But yes, if one had the $$$, this would probably be an excellent car to lease
Its horrendously ugly, BMW's design department has only gotten worse, no idea why people buy new ones, they clearly have no taste and clearly no eyes as they haven't noticed how butt ugly it is, its a far cry from great designs like the 3.0 CSL, 635 CSI and E30.
What do you think of this iX?
I like it but it is too pricey for me.
Excellent SUV/EV, with a hideous interior.
@@toronado455 Haha I actually like the interior design! Well, except for the lack of physical buttons

3 weeks in and it is vastly exceeding my very high expectations.

Have one for two months now, total luxury and performance while BMW taking care of the price making sure it is not stupidly expensive.
Yeah, people complain about the price, but you can lease one of these things for hundreds less than an X5. And it's a better car than an X5.

I feel this is the best lookking BMW

i dont understand the appeal. too expensive, doesn't look good either.
Going to try to charge it at a Tesla station tonight
1:00 on the beach 😂
Salt damage?
not even lying, every time I see one of these or an XM, I involuntarily recoil. They're hideous

I wish BMW would ditch the Roundel and change their name already.
I will admit it looks better than a Tesla, but that’s not saying much. Especially considering the price, yikes.
