Shane was the only one who made Daryl look weak with just words alone. Not even Negan could do that. Also bullied the hell out of Dale. That was up Dale was said with so much smugness. Man was cool.
Just had a thought. Crazy Shane vs The Punisher. Both played by the same actor, two very different characters. Shane is exactly the kind of person Frank Castle deals with. After he's done with Shane, he'll take out the Governor, and then Negan.
Shane was such a crucial role for TWD. If not for him, Rick and the gang would have been dead long ago. People say he was a psycho or something. Those people are wrong. He was simply ahead of his time. He knew what needed to be done in this new world and had a best friend dead set on getting them all killed for the sake of morality.
It was more realistic and not alot of Threats , but now the show is still amazing but alot of Threats and new characters, and the show is really different, but in my opinion it's still amazing
shanes transition from best friend to apocolypse ready psycho gave rick perspective on things. I believe when rick killed shane, it changed him, like in many moments throughout the series. Rick had become the ultimate killer, just wanted to see more of shane to be honest.
What if Rick was never in the hospital and him, Shane, Lori, and Carl joined the Atlanta crew together? Could Rick and Shane have coexisted in that scenario?
Yeah, I don't think anything would change. I, too, have a feeling him and Lori atleast had eyes for eachother. He was a hot head, and had the mentality too early on. In a group of strangers he would be the last man standing, though. But in a group with someone that determined to lead, there was no chance.
I think Shane wouldn't have snapped then, since his 'feelings' would not have had time to develop. It'd just be a thought than he can push back in his head. He might be with Andrea here
Man, imagine if Shane had actually lived to see the later seasons, and to see what Rick and the group would have become. It'd definitely be interesting to see, especially since he was technically ahead of his time. He knew what the world had come to, and what they had to do. Where everyone else was still holding out for a more merciful world where things would go back to normal, Shane knew it never would, and they had to get tougher skin to get with the program, and soon. But where Rick had looked out for everyone in his group, Shane only really wanted to look out for Lori & Carl _(and Judith by extension, though she hadn't obviously been born yet),_ and his obsession with them brought him down.
Before the apocalypse shane wasn't interest in lori, he knew her and rick were having issues yet he never made a move, he tried to save rick even in the middle of the zombie invasion and the military killing everyone, he risked his life, he though rick was dead for sure, he helped his best friend wife and kid escaped hell, he fell in love, shane was accepting the fact that lori wasn't her but she tricked his mind driving him crazy, shane was a badass character, lori was the one that fkd him up
Lol how? She just apologized is all. Shane deciding to kill Rick to have Lori and Carl for himself wasn’t her doing. And hooking up was both their choice, not just Lori. Hate on Lori for being a shitty wife, but for “messing up Shane” is not her fault. Shane was obsessed with her. He assaulted her at the CDC, was that Lori’s fault? And is it her fault for wanting to be with her husband when he came back? Really?!?! What was Shane expecting?
Shane should've just taken that ride into the sunset with Andrea. They could've become a good team and made their own way in the world, instead of clashing with Rick, Dale, Herschel and all those guys still stuck in the old world.
