      dude its like 10pks for $1 lol... red is the only color that shows up in my hair and its really red. way cheaper than hair dye and it doesnt smell like chemicals either.
      Id much rather smell cherry or fruit punch in my hair than chemicals that me wanna pass out even though i have the window wide open with the fan going.... and it stinks for like a week.
      Kool aid smells way better... by the time the hair dye smell goes away the color is already fading. so hey kool aid, smell fruity instead 😂🍒 and i only use like 5 packets

      Or because after getting her hair dyed professionally, going swimming in a pool with chlorine in it. True story, chlorine bleached the pro dye job out. We only used 2, 50 cent packets, had to sit her hair in it for 1 hr. But it worked. And yes you boil the water after you add the packets.

    You can actually do this on dark hair! I did it when I was a kid with red and it stayed in and VERY vibrant for about a year and a half. Granted that might be because we did the tips and the tips were really damaged by chlorine since I used to be on the swim team. I plan on doing this again soon (and I haven’t been swimming like I used to for MANY years), so I’ll probs update this and say if it truly works or not😂

    As someone who's successfully dyed brown hair red with koolaid, here's a better long lasting method:
    The water you add to dissolve the koolaid will be diluting the solution-- I skip the water and just mix it into pure conditioner
    I usually go for an ombre type style-- so I dip the ends of my hair into baggies of the conditioner-koolaid mix, rubber band my hair, and leave it overnight (seems risky but just be cautious)
    Rinse the next day-- gave me FIRETRUCK glowing red hair. No boiling water required. Lasted like 4 months too!

The darker your hair the less likely it will show. We found that black cherry showed up best in her medium blonde hair. Blue didn’t show at all except on the extremely blonde pieces. Definitely use conditioner after or you end up with straw hair!

    I’ve been mixing two packets of red koolaid into one jar of red manic panic dye for years now and it just works so well and stays solid for so many washes

    "Why don't you spend 6$ for dye, you probably spent 6$ on Kool-Aid". Because Kool-Aid LASTS FOR MONTHS and fades beautifully.

      I’m from the uk can you tell me what kool aid is? I’m thinking a sweet juice drink.

    • @trudiclements4324

      It’s a powder you mix with water and sugar to make a drink. Not available in the UK unless you can find somewhere that sells American groceries. Maybe Amazon?

      They’re not leaving sugar in their hair for life. It’s just using the food dye.

      They (most of them) use sugar free plus rinse it out very well🙃

    • @thebusinesswoman23
      @thebusinesswoman23 4 роки тому +46

      If they don't rinse it out thoroughly, it could mold . But if they rinse it out all the way it shouldn't do that, but it is hard to have the color stick to the follicles and not come out when u rinse it out..(hence the 2md round of dipping in first video)
